The Second Stage in A Division just started.

The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Atomeromu managed to win second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kaposvari looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Serbian power forward Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan) stepped up and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) chipped in 14 points, 15 assists and 5 steals. At the losing side American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Atomeromu at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Atomeromu will play next round against strong Szolnok trying to get back on the winning streak. Kaposvari will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Kormend on the road.
Undefeated Kormend (0-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by leader Albacomp (1-0) 109-72. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) nailed 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and Ronald Moore accounted for 15 points and 11 assists. Forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds for Kormend in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Albacomp went down to third position (Division) due to points difference. Kormend at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Albacomp will play against Jaszberenyi (#5) at home in the next round. Kormend will play against the league's leader Kaposvari to get more than just one victory in their record.
Marton Bader fired 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Szolnok's coach Neno Asceric felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rastko Dramicanin produced 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Defending champion (1-0) left bottom position moving up to second place in Division. Loser Jaszberenyi still closes the standings with one game lost. Szolnok will meet Atomeromu (#4) in the next round. Jaszberenyi will play against Albacomp in Szekesfehervar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Soproni (11-12) against Marso NYKK (9-14) on Friday night. Visiting Soproni was defeated by Marso NYKK in a tough game in Nyiregyhazi 69-74. Worth to mention a great performance of Anthony Nelson who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Soproni's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Marso NYKK maintains fifth place in Division with 9-14 record. Soproni at the other side keeps the second position with 12 games lost. Marso NYKK's next round opponent will be higher ranked ZTE KK (#4) in Zalaegerszeg and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
The game in Szeged was also quite interesting. First ranked Falco-Szova (12-11) played at the court of 6th ranked Szedeak (8-15). Falco-Szova managed to secure a 4-point victory 97-93 on Saturday. Zeljko Zagorac stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Falco-Szova maintains first place in Division with 12-11 record. Loser Szedeak keeps the sixth position with 15 games lost. Falco-Szova will face FS Debrecen (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.

The most impressive stats of the last round was 43 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds by Kyle Swanston of Kaposvari.
