Top ranked Albacomp (22-7) recorded its seventh loss on the court of fourth ranked Jaszberenyi on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Jaszberenyi 94-90. Albacomp trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 31-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 90-94 at the end of the game. Jaszberenyi looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Albacomp helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84) chipped in 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) produced 27 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for lost side. Albacomp's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jaszberenyi maintains fourth place in Division with 16-13 record. Albacomp at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost. Jaszberenyi are looking forward to face league's second-placed Atomeromu in Paks in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Albacomp will play at home against Kaposvari and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Szolnok will play against higher ranked Kormend (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Atomeromu will play against Jaszberenyi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 7 In Division Kormend was crushed by Kaposvari in a road game 110-88. Szedeak smashed FS Debrecen at home 95-75.

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Atomeromu (20-9) against sixth ranked Szolnok (6-1) on Wednesday night. Visiting Atomeromu was defeated by Szolnok in a tough game in Szolnok 68-73. The hosts were ahead by 6 points but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 25-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. Kaposvari - Kormend 110-88

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Kormend (12-17) was crushed on the road by third ranked Kaposvari (18-11) 110-88 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Kormend managed to win third quarter 27-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kaposvari shot 60.9 percent from the field and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. It was a great evening for American-Kittitian swingman Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Roland Hendlein (203-86, agency: TSS Management) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Kaposvari players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Attila Farkas (209-87, agency: TSS Management) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kaposvari maintains third place in Division with 18-11 record having four points less than leader Albacomp. Loser Kormend keeps the fifth position with 17 games lost. Kaposvari will meet league's leader Albacomp in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
