Jarrod Jones
With the regular season ending this weekend, the Hungarian powerhouse Szolnoki Olajbanyasz will return to play in the Hungarian Leagues next stage. Albacomp-UPC Szekesfehervar, currently the top team of the Hungarian League's regular season is preparing for the next stage - where they will face Szolnoki Olajbanyasz - by strengthen its roster lately. As we reported they added Kevin Smith (195-F-89, college: Richmond) last week, and they officially signed American big man Jarrod Jones (205-F-90, college: Ball St.) now.

Jarrod Jones arrived today to Hungary from Ukraine. He spent his current rookie season with BC Kyiv, before agreeing terms with Albacomp-UPC Szekesfehervar. The 6'9" big man ran a solid season this year, averaging 13.9ppg and 8.5rpg in 27.9mpg on the court.

With the 3 import regulation in Hungary it will be interesting to see which player will be hurt by this latest addition as now beside the American-Hungarian dual citizen, Damian Hollis (203-F-88, agency: Two Points, college: G.Washington) (forward) the team has 4 imports: Ronald Moore (183-PG-88, college: Siena) (point-guard), Brandon Wood (187-G-89, agency: N.E.T., college: Michigan St.) (combo), Kevin Smith (forward) and Jarrod Jones (forward/center).
