We bring you last week's top performances from Hungarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Anna Vadja (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Spain). She was the major contributor in a Rivas Ecopolis' victory against the ninth-ranked Conquero (5-13) 60-47 in the Spanish LFB in Wednesday night's game. Vadja scored 13 points in a mere 17 minutes on the court. Rivas Ecopolis (18-1) is placed first in the LFB. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Vadja averages: 7.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 2FGP: 45.5% in the three games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Katalin Honti (177-87, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Anna Vadja. But that was another game of her team in Spanish LFB which we would like to mention. Honti contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Socinsa Bembibre (4-14) crushing them 86-55. She scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Rivas Ecopolis (18-1) is placed first in the LFB. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. It's Honti's first season with the team. Honti's overall stats this year are: 8.6ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.3apg, 2FGP: 47.1%, 3FGP: 44.0% and FT: 88.5%. She is in the roster of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #3. The Hungarian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Dora Horti (193-87, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group, currently plays in Poland). Horti contributed to a 3-point Wisla Can-Pak's victory against the closely-ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (8-10) 62-59 in the Polish PLKK on Saturday night. She scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 24 minutes. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (14-4) is placed third in the PLKK. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Horti's overall stats are: 9.0ppg, 5.7rpg, 2FGP: 52.5% and FT: 70.7% in the 21 games. She is also a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

Forward Hajnalka Szlimak (182-82, currently plays in Romania) managed to help CSM Satu Mare to win against the closely-ranked Timisoara (18-9) 72-60 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Wednesday night's game. Szlimak scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. CSM Satu Mare (20-5) is placed third in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Szlimak's total stats this season are: 5.1ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.1apg. She used to play for the Hungarian national team back in 2010.

Former University international swingman Judit Fritz (183-87, college: St.Francis, NY, currently plays in France) contributed to a 3-point Dunkerque's victory against the closely-ranked Limoges (4-15) 67-64 in the French LF2 (12th division) last Saturday. Fritz scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 33 minutes. Dunkerque Malo Basket Club (7-13) is placed tenth in the LF2. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Fritz's total stats are: 8.5ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.6spg in the 17 games. She used to play for the Hungarian university national team four years ago.

Center Viktoria Vincze (189-87, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a Wildcats Wolfenbuettel's victory against the seventh-ranked Rhein Main Baskets (10-11) 87-73 in the German DBBL on Saturday night. Vincze scored only 4 points. BC Wildcats Wolfenbuettel (13-8) is placed third in the DBBL. Her team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Vincze has averaged so far 3.9ppg and 2.8rpg. She is a former university international player as she played for the Hungarian team four years ago.

   #7. Former international forward Ildiko Szakacs (187-81, currently plays in Switzerland), who plays in the Swiss LNA could not help Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket (2-2) to beat Fribourg (3-1). Szakacs recorded 7 points and added 3 passes in 28 minutes. The fourth-placed Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket was crushed 92-53 on the road by the second-ranked Fribourg in the Places 1-6 group. It was Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket's first loss after three consecutive victories. Her team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Szakacs has relatively good stats this year: 11.1ppg, 4.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.5spg in the 22 games. She used to play for the Hungarian national team eight years ago.

Experienced Diana Adela Pop (168-G-71, currently plays in Germany) managed to help Friendsfactory Jahn Muenchen in a victory against the ninth-ranked TG Chooza Ladybaskets (8-12) 70-65 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) in Saturday night's game. Pop scored only 2 points in 21 minutes. Friendsfactory Jahn Muenchen (8-11) is placed ninth in South group. Her team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Pop has averaged so far 3.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg in the six games she played so far. She has a dual citizenship: Romanian and Hungarian.

   #2. Kata Takacs (184-F-91, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German DBBL could not help Rotenburg/Scheessel (6-15) to beat Oberhausen (10-11). Takacs scored only 4 points. The bottom-ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel was defeated 87-73 on the road by the higher-ranked Oberhausen (#8). It was Rotenburg/Scheessel's sixth consecutive loss in a row. Her team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Takacs has averaged so far 4.9ppg and 2.8rpg. She is another player who holds two passports: Hungarian and Austrian.

   #3. Andrea Hajdune Csaszar (200-C-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Kent St., currently plays in Switzerland) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Riva Basket (2-2) crushing them 92-55 in the Swiss LNA in Sunday night's game. Hajdune Csaszar recorded only 2 points and added 4 passes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6. Helios VS Basket (4-0) is placed first. So far her team won all four games in the Second Stage. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Hajdune Csaszar has averaged so far 7.9ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.9apg, 1.6bpg and 2.1spg.

Sopron Basket (A Division) added to their roster 31-year old American ex-international power forward Crystal Langhorne (188-86kg-86, college: Maryland). She played last summer at Seattle Storm (WNBA). In 35 games she had 12.0ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.5apg. The most of last season Langhorne spent at Heilongjiang Chenneng in Chinese WCBA where in 31 games she recorded very impressive stats: 23.4ppg, 11.8rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg. UMMC Ekaterinburg - Sopron Basket 60-68 Sopron Basket upset the hosts to seal UMMC Cup in Ekaterinburg. The Hungarian side became the winner of the International tournament after a 68-60 victory. Both teams nailed the same number of points in the first two quarters, 15-15 and then 16-16 respectively. UMMC Ekaterinburg nailed an 18-14 run in the third period, while Sopron Basket replied with a massive 23-11 surge to win the game. ACS Sepsi-SIC - Atomeromu KSC Szekszard 57-71 Atomeromu KSC Szekszard celebrate Sio Cup title beating Romanian ACS Sepsi-SIC 71-57 in the Final. Trailing 19-22 at the end of the first period, ACS Sepsi-SIC posted a massive 22-13 surge and took 41-35 advantage at the halftime.
