Lorenzo
Williams
American Lorenzo Williams (189-PG-84, agency: Court Side) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Atomeromu and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage).
The 28-year old playmaker had the game-high 34 points adding nine assists for Atomeromu in his team's victory, helping them to crush Szolnok (1-1) with 16-point margin 90-74. Atomeromu is placed at 2nd position in Hungarian A Division. Atomeromu is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 1st lost game this season out of 2 games. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Atomeromu and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Rice University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams is league's best passer with 6.5apg. Williams is in league's top in and averages solid 52.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 31-year old Slovenian forward Zeljko Zagorac (204-F-81) of Falco-Szova. Zagorac impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Falco-Szova to another comfortable win outscoring FS Debrecen (2-21) 107-57. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Zagorac is one of the most experienced players at Falco-Szova and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was international David Gaspar (196-SF-82, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) of ZTE KK (#-2). Gaspar showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, five rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of ZTE KK, leading his team to a 83-64 easy win against #-1 ranked Marso NYKK in a game of the week. The chances of ZTE KK ranking at the top of Places 7-13, however are very questionable as they have already lost 13 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Gaspar could help ZTE KK to bring them higher in the standings. Gaspar has a very solid season. In 23 games in Hungary he scored 12.0ppg. He also has 3.8apg and FGP: 53.3%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Tomislav Ivosev (204-F-90) of Falco-Szova - 22 points and 11 rebounds
5. Miljan Rakic (195-G-86) of Jaszberenyi - 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
6. David Vojvoda (196-G/F-90) of Atomeromu - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Anthony Nelson (185-G-89) of Marso NYKK - 19 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Marton Bader (212-C-80) of Szolnok - 18 points and 11 rebounds
9. Dorenzo Hudson (195-G-88) of ZTE KK - 18 points and 11 rebounds
10. Kyle Austin (203-F-88) of Kormend - 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
