Szolnok remains alive for the Quarter-finals of the EuroChallenge. The Hungarian team overcame Hapoel Holon 81:66 for 3-2 record. In the last round thye will need to beat Paris-Levallois in a do-or-die game.
The game was mostly controlled by Szolnok. Hapoel Holon was better in fourth quarter 24-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Hapoel Holon to just 7 points in second quarter. Szolnok had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. James Florence (185-G-88, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Mercer) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Miklos Szabo (205-F/C-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group, college: Hofstra) contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Szolnok's coach Neno Asceric used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Frank Hassell (203-F-88, college: ODU) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds and Lawrence Hill (203-F-87, college: Stanford) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Holon.

Szolnok - Atomeromu 102-98 OT Szolnok survived overtime to hand Atomeromu the decisive third loss in the semifinal series. Szolnok will now take on Albacomp in the championship series. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 30-20 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 4-point victory in overtime.
