24-year old forward Jessica Kuster (188-F-92) had a great game in the last round for league's best team PEAC-Pecs and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4. She had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat PINKK-Pecsi (#11, 0-4), the league's bottom-ranked team 62-54. 24-year old forward Jessica Kuster (188-F-92) had a great game in the last round for league's best team PEAC-Pecs and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4. She had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat PINKK-Pecsi (#11, 0-4), the league's bottom-ranked team 62-54. It allowed PEAC-Pecs to consolidate first place in the Hungarian A Division. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but PEAC-Pecs already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Kuster turned to be PEAC-Pecs' top player in her first season with the team. Rice University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kuster is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (4th best: 8.5rpg) and averages solid 53.7% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Aaliyah Whiteside (183-G/F-94) of PINKK-Pecsi. She is American swingman in her first season at PINKK-Pecsi. In the last game Whiteside recorded impressive 22 points and 4 rebounds. Bad luck as PINKK-Pecsi lost that game 54-62 to league's leader PEAC-Pecs (#1, 4-0). PINKK-Pecsi are still at the very bottom. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Whiteside is a newcomer at PINKK-Pecsi and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.5ppg (#6). She also registered 5.0 boards per game. Former Georgia Tech star Whiteside is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Kirby Burkholder (183-G-92, agency: Interperformances) of ZTE NKK (#6). Burkholder scored 22 points. She was a key player of ZTE NKK, leading her team to a 71-50 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Vasas Akademia (#8, 2-2). ZTE NKK needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Burkholder has a great season in Hungary. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.7ppg (best scorer).
Other top performing players last week: 4. Maja Skoric (185-SF-89) of Cegledi EKK - 23 points and 6 rebounds 5. Eva Lisec (192-C-95) of Atomeromu - 16 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists 6. Sanja Mandic (178-PG-95) of PEAC-Pecs - 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists 7. Yvonne Turner (176-G-87) of UNIQA Eurol. - 14 points and 6 assists 8. Dora Nagy (170-PG-95) of ZTE NKK - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists 9. Cayla George (192-C-89) of UNIQA Eurol. - 11 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists 10. The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hungarian players, who play currently abroad. This week's number one is an international forward Tijana Krivacevic (196-90). Sheto an easy victory against the tenth-ranked CREF Hola in the Spanish LFB in Wednesday night's game.

#1. This week's number one is an international forward Tijana Krivacevic (196-90, currently plays in Spain). She led Perfumerias Avenida to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked CREF Hola (2-3) crushing them 86-47 in the Spanish LFB in Wednesday night's game.
Krivacevic recorded 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court.
Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca (5-0) is placed first in the LFB.
So far her team won all five games in the Regular Season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Krivacevic's first year with the team.
This season she averages: 5.4ppg, 3.0rpg, 2FGP: 38.7%, 3FGP: 25.0% in five games she played so far.
Krivacevic has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Hungarian.
Ex-UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron player is currently a member of the Hungarian senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to former University international center Viktoria Vincze (189-87, currently plays in Germany). Vincze contributed to a Osnabruck SC's victory against the 11th-ranked Barmer TV (0-4) 80-71 in the German 2.Bundesliga (second division) in Saturday night's game.
She recorded 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
GiroLive Panthers Osnabruck SC (4-0) is placed second in North group.
So far her team won all four games in the Regular Season.
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
It's Vincze's first season with the team.
Vincze has relatively good stats this year: 10.3ppg, 5.8rpg, 2FGP: 48.8% and FT: 33.3%.
Former Work Force DVTK Miskolc starter played for the Hungarian university national team in 2009.
#3. The Hungarian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international point guard Noemi Czirjak (179-93, currently plays in Germany) is a teammate of previously mentioned Viktoria Vincze and both played together in the last German 2.Bundesliga game.
Czirjak managed to help GiroLive Panthers Osnabruck SC in a victory against the 11th-ranked Barmer TV (0-4) 80-71.
She recorded only 2 points in 13 minutes.
This year Czirjak's overall stats are: 2.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.8apg, 2FGP: 18.2% and FT: 55.6% in four games.
She played for the Hungarian U20 national team three years ago.
#4. Swingman Judit Fritz (183-87, agency: Interperformances, college: St.Francis, NY, currently plays in United Kingdom). Fritz could not help Archers (0-2) to beat Crusaders (2-0).
She scored 5 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals.
Archers was crushed 77-36 on the road by the leading Crusaders.
This season Fritz has relatively solid stats: 11.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg.
She used to play for the Hungarian university national team
back in 2009.
#5. An experienced U16 international center Kata Fulop (188-0, currently plays in United Kingdom) was not able to help Wolves in their game against Mystics (2-0) in the British WBBL.
Fulop scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes. It was her first game for Wolves this season.
The bottom-ranked Wolves was crushed 89-68 in Manchester by the much higher-ranked (#3) Mystics.
Fulop plays currently for the Hungarian U16 national team.
#6. Forward Reka Fejes (186-87, currently plays in Denmark) was not able to secure a victory for Lemvig (0-2) in their game against Virum (1-0) in the Danish Dameligaen.
She scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
The bottom-ranked Lemvig was edged 70-69 at home by the higher-ranked Virum (#3).
Fejes' total stats this season are: 4.0ppg and 3.5rpg.
She is a former international player as she played for the Hungarian senior team six years ago.
The list of other players, who all have Hungarian passport but never been selected to any of Hungarian national teams:
#1.Andreea Olah (181-G/F-86, currently plays in Romania) contributed to a Satu Mare's victory against the closely-ranked Alexandria (0-3) 92-84 in the Romania Liga Nationala last Wednesday.
She recorded 10 points.
CS Municipal Satu Mare (2-2) is placed sixth in the Liga Nationala.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
It's Olah's first year with the team.
Olah's overall stats this season are: 6.0ppg and 2.0rpg.
She has a dual citizenship: Hungarian and Romania.
#2.Kata Takacs (184-F-91, currently plays in Germany) managed to help Herner TC in a victory against the seventh-ranked SV Halle Lions (2-3) 83-76 in the German DBBL on Saturday night.
Takacs scored only 2 points in 10 minutes.
Herner TC (4-1) is placed second in the DBBL.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
This year Takacs' overall stats are: 3.2ppg and 3.4rpg in five games she played so far.
She is another player who holds two passports: Austria and Hungarian.
#3.Ildiko Nagy (187-F/C-84, currently plays in Romania). She could not help ICIM Arad (0-4) to beat Brasov (3-1).
Nagy scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes.
The bottom-ranked ICIM Arad was edged 73-70 on the road by the much higher-ranked (#3) Brasov.
So far ICIM Arad lost all four games in the Regular Season.
This year Nagy's overall stats are: 5.0ppg and 4.8rpg in four games.
She has both Hungarian and Romania nationalities.
#4. Experienced Andrea Hajdune Csaszar (196-C-82, college: Kent St., currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to help BBC Les Portes du Soleil Troistorrents (1-3) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Hajdune Csaszar's very good performance BBC Les Portes du Soleil Troistorrents were defeated 62-52 in Geneve by the higher-ranked Basket (#5).
She recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. Hajdune Csaszar also added 4 blocks (made all of her ten free throws !!!).
Hajdune Csaszar has individually a very good season with high stats. She averages: 17.0ppg, 13.3rpg, 2.0apg, 1.5bpg and 1.3spg.
#5.Hanna Demeter (190-SF-94, currently plays in Romania) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ildiko Nagy and both played together in the last Romania Liga Nationala game.
Demeter was not able to secure a victory for ICIM Arad (0-4) in their game against Brasov (3-1).
She scored only 4 points.
The bottom-ranked ICIM Arad was edged 73-70 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked Brasov (#3).
This season Demeter averages just 2.0ppg.
She also holds two passports: Hungarian and Romania.
#6.Ana Nagy couldn't help Wolves in their game against Mystics in the British WBBL.
Nagy scored 7 points in 22 minutes. It was her first game for Wolves this season.
Her team was crushed by 21 points 89-68.

Mann Filter Zaragoza (LFB) landed experienced 34-year old American guard Roneeka Hodges (180-75kg-82, college: Florida State, agency: Josep and Nicolas). She played most recently at Aluinvent DVTK Miskolc in Hungarian A Division. In 12 games she averaged 10.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.0spg last season. Mann Filter Zaragoza (LFB) landed experienced 34-year old American guard Roneeka Hodges (180-75kg-82, college: Florida State, agency: Josep and Nicolas). She played most recently at Aluinvent DVTK Miskolc in Hungarian A Division. In 12 games she averaged 10.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.0spg last season. Hodges helped them to win the cup and make to league semifinals. She also played 2 games in Eurocup where she had 10.0ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.5apg. The previous (2015) summer Hodges played at another team Atlanta in U.S. semi-pro league WNBA. In 23 games she recorded 6.4ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.3apg in 2015 season. It was a very successful year in her career as she was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Korean WKBL Honorable Mention and to the All-Star Game. Hodges' team won Spanish LFB Supercup in 2013. She is a very experienced player. Hodges has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Hodges has played previously professionally in Brazil (Corinthians/Americana and Maranhao), France, Israel, Poland, Turkey (Istanbul Uni and Adana ASKI Mersin), WNBA (Indiana Fever, Dallas Wings, Minnesota Lynx and San Antonio Silver Stars), Spain (Perfumerias Avenida and Rivas Promete) and South Korea (Winnus). She attended Florida State until 2005 and it will be her twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
