Miljan Rakic
Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-G-86, agency: BeoExcell) had a very impressive game in the last round for Jaszberenyi, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10 (Second Stage).
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, two rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Kaposvari (#3, 18-14) 93-80. Jaszberenyi maintains the 4th position in Hungarian A Division. Jaszberenyi is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 15th lost game this season out of 32 games. In the team's last game Rakic had a remarkable seven three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Jaszberenyi's top player in his first season with the team. Miljan Rakic has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 6.2apg) and averages impressive 58.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 32-year old former international center Marton Bader (212-C-80, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) of Szolnok. Bader had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Szolnok lost that game 63-72 to the higher-ranked Albacomp (#1, 25-7). Szolnok managed to keep the same 6th spot in Places 1-6. It was just his team's 2nd loss in Second Stage, while they won 8 other games. Bader is one of the most experienced players at Szolnok and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was former international forward Norbert Toth (203-F-86, agency: TSS Management) of PVSK Pannon (#-4). Toth showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of PVSK Pannon, leading his team to a 82-61 easy win against #-1 ranked ZTE KK in a game of the week. PVSK Pannon needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Places 7-13. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 13 lost games. Toth has a great season in Hungary. After 28 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.9rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Nebojsa Dukic (206-C/F-85) of Szedeak - 20 points and 8 rebounds
5. Dontay Thomas (186-G-84) of Soproni - 28 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Lorenzo Williams (189-PG-84) of Atomeromu - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Martins Berkis (198-F-85) of Marso NYKK - 20 points and 10 rebounds
8. Akos Keller (208-F/C-89) of Albacomp - 16 points and 12 rebounds
9. Christopher Dunn (189-PG-83) of Kaposvari - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Charles Hinkle (195-G-88) of Soproni - 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
