Hungarian University National Team claimed the second straight over Serbian U19 selection in the exhibition series in Ivanjica. This time the visitors eked out a one-point victory. Judit Manyoky (172-G-92) nailed 12 points to pace the winners.
Serbia got to almost a perfect start. The hosts dropped 28 points in the opening quarter to gain a 7-point advantage. They kept Hungary at bay throughout the second frame. Serbia secured a 41:31 halftime lead. But Hungary stopped the rot in the third term. The visitors cut the deficit to just 2 points at the third break. Hungary went on a 13:11 run in the fourth period and tied things up at the end of regulation. Hungary held Serbia to 6 points in the extra period and got away with a narrow win. Krisztina Velkey (175-G-92) dropped 10 points, while Gjoki added 9 points for the winners. Aleksandra Crvendakic (188-F-96) answered with game-high 15 points for Serbia. Jovana Vidakovic (171-PG-94) had 13 points in the loss.
