Brad Loesing
23-year old guard Brad Loesing (182-G-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for PVSK Pannon and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had the game-high 23 points adding six rebounds and six assists for PVSK Pannon in his team's victory, helping them to beat Szedeak (#6, 8-14) 90-82. Thanks to this victory PVSK Pannon moved-up to the 3rd position in the Hungarian league. PVSK Pannon is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-12 record. In the team's last game Loesing had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be PVSK Pannon's top player in his first season with the team. Wofford College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Loesing is in league's top in assists (9th best: 4.6apg) and averages solid 51.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kyle Austin (203-F-88) of Kormend. He is American forward in his first season at Kormend. In the last game Austin recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Kormend cruised to a 94-85 relatively comfortable win over league's leader Atomeromu (0-0). Despite this victory Kormend slide down in the standings to 5th position. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Austin is a newcomer at Kormend and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Filip Barovic (208-F/C-90) of league's second-best Soproni. Barovic scored 21 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Barovic's great performance Soproni lost 71-72 to #4 ranked ZTE KK. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Soproni needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 11 victories and 11 lost games. Barovic has a great season in Hungary. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.3rpg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Marko Spica (205-C/F-86) of Kaposvari - 21 points and 11 rebounds
5. Donald Copeland (177-PG-84) of ZTE KK - 27 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Mate Mohacsi (192-F-90) of Marso NYKK - 28 points and 5 rebounds
7. Akos Keller (208-F/C-89) of Albacomp - 19 points and 12 rebounds
8. Bennet Davis (206-F-84) of Marso NYKK - 17 points and 10 rebounds
9. Mate Medve (197-G-89) of FS Debrecen - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
10. David Vojvoda (196-G/F-90) of Atomeromu - 23 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
