Good Angels - UNIQA Euroleasing 62:58

Good Angels celebrated the Middle European League Final. They outscored UNIQA Euroleasing in the championship game in Kosice tonight. Tijana Krivacevic (194-F-90) stepped up with 18 points to pace the winners.
It was a tough intense battle between two well-matched teams. UNIQA Euroleasing took a narrow 12:11 lead after ten minutes of action. Good Angels took over in the second quarter. The home team went on an 18:8 rally to ensure a 29:20 lead at the interval. The Sopron team however did not allow Good Angels to clear off in the third period. The Hungarian side stayed close trailing by just 4 points at the final break 42:46. Zsofia Fegyverneky (182-G-84, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) put the Sopron team within two points 50:52 midway through the fourth frame. But Allie Quigley (180-G-86, college: De Paul) and Hruscakova scored four straight points to give a breathing room for Good Angels. Sverrisdottir made it 59:52 for the hosts and Good Angels never looked back en route to the victory. Lucia Kupcikova (184-F-84) finished with 13 points, while Allie Quigley added 12 points for the winners. Shenise Johnson (180-G-90, college: Miami, FL) answered with 19 points for UNIQA Euroleasing. Zsofia Fegyverneky chipped in 15 points in the loss.
