We bring you last week's top performances from Hungarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Peter Lorant
Peter Lorant
#1. This week's number one is an international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group, currently plays in Italy). He managed to help Acea Virtus Roma in a victory against the closely-ranked Montepaschi Siena (14-8) crushing them 94-70 in the Italian SerieA in Monday night's game. Lorant recorded only 4 points in 12 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Acea Virtus Roma (15-7) is placed third in the SerieA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Lorant's first season with the team. This year he averages: 3.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 40.7%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 85.7% in the 22 games he played so far. Lorant is currently a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

Obie Trotter
Obie Trotter
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Obie Trotter (188-84, agency: Court Side, college: Alabama A&M, currently plays in VTB United League). He contributed to a 2-point BC Nizhny Novgorod's victory against the closely-ranked VEF Riga (10-7) 89-87 in the VTB United League last Sunday. Trotter scored 7 points. BC Nizhny Novgorod (10-7) is placed fifth in group B. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Trotter's overall stats this season are: 9.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.0apg, 2FGP: 46.6%, 3FGP: 39.1% and FT: 81.3%. He is a naturalized American. Trotter is in the roster of the Hungarian senior national team. He used to play for Szolnoki Olajbanyasz in Hungarian league.

Adam Hanga
Adam Hanga
#3. The Hungarian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Adam Hanga (200-89, agency: TSS Management, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. Hanga could not help Assignia Manresa (4-20) to beat Unicaja Malaga (12-12). He scored 7 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 29 minutes. The bottom-ranked Assignia Manresa was badly defeated 80-63 on the road by the much higher-ranked (#11) Unicaja Malaga. It was Assignia Manresa's fifth consecutive loss in a row. Hanga has relatively good stats this year: 10.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.0apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 44.3%, 3FGP: 32.1% and FT: 70.3% in the 23 games. He is also a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

Gyorgy Kinter
Gyorgy Kinter
#4. Center Gyorgy Kinter (213-88, currently plays in Czech Republic) was not able to help BK Decin (16-12) in their game against BK Prostejov (17-10) in the Czech Republic NBL. He recorded 8 points in only 13 minutes. The fifth-placed BK Decin was crushed 101-68 in Prostejov by the higher-ranked (#4) BK Prostejov in the Group A1. This year Kinter's overall stats are: 7.0ppg and 2.5rpg in the four games. He used to play for the Hungarian university national team back in 2011.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Hungarian passport:

#1. Attila Kovacs (203-F-85, currently plays in Denmark), who plays in the Danish Ligaen could not help Horsholm (10-11) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Kovacs' very good performance Horsholm was crushed 93-70 on the road by the second-ranked Bakken. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Kovacs also added 7 rebounds. This season Kovacs has relatively solid stats: 14.3ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.2apg.
