Here is the weekly review of the top performing Icelandic players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82, currently plays in Sweden). He was the major contributor in a 2-point Sundsvall Dragons' victory against the closely-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (23-13) 74-72 in the Swedish Basketligan in Tuesday night's game. Baeringsson recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in 38 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Sundsvall Dragons (30-7) is placed first in the Basketligan. Baeringsson is currently first on the league's list of best rebounders with 10.1rpg. He also averaged so far 14.8ppg, 3.4apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 56.2%(149-265), 3FGP: 47.0%(47-100) and FT: 71.6% in the 38 games he played so far. Baeringsson is currently a member of the Icelandic senior national team.

Law, currently plays in Sweden) faced previously mentioned Hlynur Baeringsson in the Swedish Basketligan last game. Ermolinskij, who plays in the Swedish Basketligan. He could not help Norrkoping Dolphins (26-2) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Ermolinskij's good performance the league leader Norrkoping Dolphins was edged 74-72 on the road by the one of league's weakest teams Sundsvall Dragons (#11). He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Ermolinskij also added 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Ermolinskij belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #6. This season he averages: 9.3ppg, 6.9rpg, 4.4apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 51.1%, 3FGP: 33.7% and FT: 65.7%. Ermolinskij is in the roster of the Icelandic senior national team.

   #3. The Icelandic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Hoerdur Vilhjalmsson (194-88, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL. He was not able to help Mitteldeutscher BC (12-16) in their last game. Despite Vilhjalmsson's very good performance Mitteldeutscher BC lost 71-77 in Bonn to the higher-ranked (#9) Telekom Baskets. He was the top scorer with 16 points. Vilhjalmsson also added 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 33 minutes. They ended the series of six consecutive victories. Vilhjalmsson has relatively good stats this year: 10.1ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.8apg, 2FGP: 47.3%, 3FGP: 33.8% and FT: 78.3% in the 28 games. He is also a member of the Icelandic senior national team.

Point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern, currently plays in Sweden) is a teammate of previously mentioned Hlynur Baeringsson and both played together in the last Swedish Basketligan game. Sigurdarson led Sundsvall Dragons to a 2-point victory against the closely-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (23-13) 74-72. He recorded 12 points and added 3 assists. It's Sigurdarson's fourth season with the team. Sigurdarson is currently sixth on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Sigurdarson averages: 17.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 3.1apg. He is also Icelandic national team player.

International guard Jon Stefansson (196-82, currently plays in Spain) managed to help CAI Zaragoza in a victory against the closely-ranked FIATC Joventut (13-14) 71-59 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Stefansson scored only 2 points in 20 minutes. CAI Zaragoza (15-12) is placed seventh in the ACB. This year Stefansson's overall stats are: 5.9ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.6apg in the 22 games. He plays currently for the Icelandic national team.

Shooting guard Logi Gunnarsson (192-81, currently plays in France), who plays in the French NM1 (third division) was not able to secure a victory for Angers BC 49 (10-15) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Gunnarsson's good performance Angers BC 49 was defeated 98-90 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Rueil (#9). He scored 13 points. This season Gunnarsson has relatively solid stats: 12.0ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.5apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Icelandic National Team roster.
