   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern, currently plays in Sweden). He led Sundsvall Dragons to a victory over the eighth-ranked 08 Stockholm (16-17) 98-90 in the Swedish Basketligan in Tuesday night's game. Sigurdarson was MVP of the game. He scored 26 points (!!!) and grabbed 5 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. Sundsvall Dragons (27-6) is placed first in the Basketligan. It's Sigurdarson's fourth season with the team. Sigurdarson belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #6 with 17.9ppg. He also averaged so far 3.3rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 50.7%, 3FGP: 37.8% and FT: 91.2%(145-159) in the 34 games he played so far. Sigurdarson is currently a member of the Icelandic senior national team.

Second place goes to an international forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82, currently plays in Sweden) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jakob Sigurdarson and both played together in the last Swedish Basketligan game. Baeringsson contributed to a Sundsvall Dragons' victory against the eighth-ranked 08 Stockholm (16-17) 98-90. He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 13 rebounds. Baeringsson also added 8 assists. Baeringsson is ranked first on the list of the best rebounders in the league. He has very reliable stats this season: 14.8ppg, 10.1rpg, 3.4apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 57.0%(139-244), 3FGP: 47.1%(41-87) and FT: 71.1%. Baeringsson is in the roster of the Icelandic senior national team.

   #3. The Icelandic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Jon Stefansson (196-82, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. He could not help CAI Zaragoza (14-11) to beat Regal FC Barcelona (16-9). Stefansson recorded 7 points in 19 minutes. CAI Zaragoza lost 81-89 on the road to the higher-ranked (#3) Regal FC Barcelona. This year Stefansson averages: 6.2ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 44.6%, 3FGP: 30.8% and FT: 81.8% in the 20 games. He is also a member of the Icelandic senior national team.

   #4. Guard Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87, agency: I.D.S. Law, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan was not able to help Norrkoping Dolphins (4-2) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Ermolinskij's good performance the league leader Norrkoping Dolphins was crushed 104-80 in Boras by the lower-ranked Basket (#5). He scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. It's Ermolinskij's first season with the team. Ermolinskij is currently seventh on the league's list of best passers. His overall stats this season are: 9.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 4.4apg and 1.1spg. Ermolinskij is also Icelandic national team player.

   #5. International shooting guard Logi Gunnarsson (192-81, currently plays in France) was the main contributor in an Angers BC 49's victory against the closely-ranked CFBB (2-17) crushing them 113-58 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. He was the best player in that game. Gunnarsson scored 29 points (!!!) and added 4 passes in 25 minutes. Angers BC 49 (9-13) is placed 11th in the NM1. Gunnarsson has relatively good stats this year: 12.8ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.7apg in the 21 games. He plays currently for the Icelandic national team.

   #6. Small forward Axel Karason (194-83, currently plays in Denmark), who plays in the Danish Ligaen was not able to secure a victory for Vaerlose (9-12) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Karason's good performance Vaerlose was defeated 98-88 on the opponent's court by the leading Svendborg. He scored 10 points. Karason's overall stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.5apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Icelandic National Team roster.

KR trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 23-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 86-91 at the end of the game. Grindavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Grindavik - KR 88-89 KR clinched the second straight win in Dominos League Finals. They nipped Grindavik on the road to step closer to the title. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 24-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. KR looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists.
