24-year old guard Porsche Landry (155-G-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Keflavik and receives a Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had the game-high 25 points adding six rebounds and seven assists for Keflavik in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Valur (#5, 1-2) 86-85. It allowed Keflavik to consolidate first place in the Icelandic Dominos League. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Keflavik already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Landry turned to be Keflavik's top player in her first season with the team. University of Houston graduate has very impressive stats this year. Landry is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.7ppg), assists (5th best: 5.3apg) and averages solid 1.7bpg,3.3spg and 59.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jaleesa Butler (185-G-87) of Valur. She is American guard in her first season at Valur. In the last game Butler recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Valur was edged by Keflavik (3-0) 86-85. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Butler is a newcomer at Valur and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.7ppg (#5). Her other stats are also decent: 11.7rpg and 4.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Lele Hardy (182-F-88) of Haukar (#8). Hardy got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. She went also for twenty six rebounds . Despite Hardy's great performance Haukar lost 62-73 to Grindavik (#2, 2-1). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Haukar can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Too bad for Hardy she does not play for a better team. But maybe if she did, her season stats would not be that high. Hardy has individually a great season in Iceland. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 29.3ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 20.7rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 5.7apg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Diamber Johnson (170-PG-90) of Hamar - 29 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Chynna Brown (173-G-91) of Snaefell - 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir (178-G-89) of Snaefell - 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Lauren Oosdyke (180-F-90) of Grindavik - 21 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Bryndis Gudmundsdottir (178-F-88) of Keflavik - 15 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists

10. Palina Gunnlaugsdottir (168-PG-87) of Grindavik - 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
