Dunne
Naturalized Welsh forward Tal Michael Dunne (197-F-87) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona, receiving a Eurobasket.com National League Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Elitzur Yavne (#5, 13-6) 113-104. It allowed Ironi Nes-Ziona to consolidate first place in the Welsh National League. Ironi Nes-Ziona have a solid 16-3 record. It's Dunne's second year at Ironi Nes-Ziona and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Tal Michael Dunne averages this season 18.1ppg, 7.8rpg and 4.2apg.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old American Vernon Teel (193-G-87, agency: FCM) of Elitzur Ramla. Teel had a very good evening with a triple-double of 29 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Of course he lead Elitzur Ramla to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Hapoel K/S (#10, 6-13) 93-65. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Elitzur Ramla keeps 9th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-11 record. Teel is a newcomer at Elitzur Ramla, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.6ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 9.8rpg and 6.2apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Elitzur Ramla's star - American Johndre Jefferson (207-C/F-88). Jefferson showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, twenty three rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was another key player of Elitzur Ramla, helping his team with a 93-65 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Hapoel K/S (#10, 6-13). The chances of Elitzur Ramla ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 11 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jefferson could help Elitzur Ramla to bring them higher in the standings. Jefferson has a great season in Israel. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.1rpg (#1 in league). He also has 3.7bpg and FGP: 65.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Chukwudinma Odiakosa (203-F/C-85) of Hod Hasharon - 21 points and 18 rebounds
5. Bilal Benn (196-G/F-86) of Ironi Nes-Ziona - 26 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Keith Ramsey (205-C/F-87) of Ironi Ramat Gan - 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Jermaine Hall (196-F-80) of Macc.B.Yaakov - 27 points and 13 rebounds
8. Nate Miller (193-G-87) of Ironi Nahariya - 24 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Dallis Joyner (203-F-90) of Maccabi K/B - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Anton Kazarnovski (205-F/C-85) of Hapoel Kazrin - 20 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
