The game was mostly controlled by Hod Hasharon. Elitzur Yavne was better in third quarter 25-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Elitzur Yavne 44-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian power forward Chukwudinma Odiakosa (203-85, college: Illinois St., agency: N.E.T.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Eran Asante Asare (194-88, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Hod Hasharon players scored in double figures. Swingman Elad Hofman (192-85) answered with 18 points and 4 assists and guard Noam Matalon (197-87, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for Elitzur Yavne.

Coach Rami Hadar left Hapoel Tel Aviv - 1 day ago
Head coach Rami Hadar left Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Winner League). He helped them to make it to the cup final. Hadar also coached for Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv earlier that season. He coached in the final of Israeli National League in 2014. Hadar has coached previously three other teams: Maccabi Haifa, Benyamina and Hapoel Afula.
