It looked good early as Ironi Kiryat Ata took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Ironi Nahariya had a 27-18 second period charge getting the lead and Ironi Kiryat Ata was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 87-103. Ironi Nahariya made 26-of-33 charity shots (78.8 percent) during the game. Ironi Kiryat Ata was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for guard Aviram Zelkovits (193-89) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 6 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita St., agency: Global Sports Plaza) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Ironi Nahariya's coach Shay Minister used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 107-78. Gil Amitay (197-89) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. Benn is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Mike James (185-90, college: Lamar) who recorded 26 points and naturalized Russian power forward Anton Kazarnovski (205-85) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively.
