The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Haifa. Galil Gilboa managed to win fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Galil Gilboa 44-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Maccabi Haifa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) who scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists.
