The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 18-10 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. International center Maria Laterza (190-89, college: Marist, agency: Two Points) fired 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Silvia Favento (185-85) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. British center Dominique Allen (192-89, college: ORU) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Monica Bonafede (186-85) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian forward Gabriele Narviciute (187-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds. Naturalized Serbian forward Marija Micovic (187-82, agency: Players Group) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Latvian power forward Lauma Reke (185-86, college: St.Peter's) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Sara Giorgi (187-86) added 14 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for T.
