Alghero - Crema 60-71

Alghero was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 24-11 charge of TEC-MAR Crema, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Alghero's 22. TEC-MAR Crema forced 21 Alghero turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Paola Caccialanza (175-89) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Martina Capoferri (175-91) chipped in 15 points. Guard Marika Zanardi (175-81) produced 23 points and naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandra Chesta (187-82, agency: Players Group) added 9 points respectively for the hosts. Alghero's coach Claudio Cau rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
