With the games of yesterday are official the 6 teams, 2 for group, that will play in the finals to obtain a spot for the next season in Lega2 Silver (new format that will take the place of the current DNA).

Group A

Controlgom Monticelli Brusati vs Orsi Derthona Tortona 2-0 (75-72, 68-62)
The Controlgom is the first finalist in the group thanks 2 victory against Tortona. In game 1 the hosts comeback in the second half thanks 20 pts of Bertolini Luca and 18 pts for Rodriguez Yancarlos that add 4 stl. Good game also for Rodolfo Rombaldoni (193-G-77, agency: Players Group) with 10 pts, 4 stl and 5 ass while for the opponents not enough 2 great performances of Quaroni Mauro (25 pts + 8 reb but 10/23 total at shoot) and Giuliano Samoggia (200-F/C-83) that closed with the double-double (22 pts + 12 reb). In the game 2 is decisive the last quarter, 22-15 for the visitors, that reaches the final thanks 4 players in double digit (Rombaldoni top scorer with 15 pts, 12 pts + 8 reb for the Argentinian Masieri Luciano) while for the Orsi Derthona in this last game of the season 24 pts of Degrada Stefano and 21 pts for Samoggia. Fo the others just 3 pts of Quaroni (but 6 ass) and 9 reb of Pavone Maurizio.

ABC Utensili Varese vs LTC Sangiorgese Bk 1-2 (82-88, 68-64, 63-71)
In a series with all away wins is the Sangiorgese that surprising and eliminates Varese reaching Monticelli Brusati in final. Daniele Mario Benzoni (196-F-80) is the MVP of the 3 games closing the series with 19.3 ppg (24, 17 and 17 again) adding also 14 reb in the decisive third match but important was also the cotribute of Sebastiano Bianchi (195-F-92) with 14.7 ppg and 11.3 rpg, always in double-double (10+12, 21+12 and 13+10). For the ABC Utensili 24 pts of Filippo Rovera (190-G/F-86) and 9 ass for Realini Maurizio in game 1 (loses with a bad partial in the last quarter) and 24 pts of Luca Matteucci (200-G/F-85) in the victory at PalaBorsani in game 2. In the decisive game not enough another good game of Matteucci and Rovera (rispectively 19 and 16 pts) against the 4 players in double digit of the visitors that close the match after a perfect partial in the second quarter (21-8 and 34-23 after 20 minutes).

Group B

Affrico Basket Firenze vs Consum.it Virtus Siena 2-0 (81-67, 79-76)
In the Tuscan derby Firenze gets the better of the Virtus Siena and became the first finalist in the group B. In the first game the victory is net with the Enegan Affrico that has 6 player in dobule digit and 94 of ranking against the 59 of the visitors. Mattia Udom (202-G/F-93) is the MVP with an amazing performance (20 pts + 13 reb) but good things are arrived also by Paparella Emiliano (11 pts + 8 reb) and Fontani Cosimo (13 pts). For the Consum.it the top scorer was Andrea Colli (203-F-88, agency: Players Group) with 17 pts, 12 reb and 4 stl, for the other 16 pts of Imbro Gerlando and 15 pts with 9 reb for Thomas De Min (203-F-86). Game 2 is more balanced but Firenze wins at PalaEstra leading again by Udom (on loan from the Montepaschi) with 20 pts and 14 reb and Fattori Giovanni that closes with 21 pts and 9 reb. For the hosts not enough the 26 pts of Filippo Alessandri (190-G-89) and the double-double of Colli and De Min.

Acmar Ravenna vs Tramec Riduttori Cento 2-1 (85-64, 70-82, 83-66)
Ravenna is the second finalst thanks the victory obtained yesterday against Cento in the decisive game 3 of the series. After the first 2 quarter the Acmar had already close the game (50-34 the partial) and the Tramec has had to surrender after the great exploit in the previous game. In the first match Ravenna had dominated with 19 pts of Eugenio Rivali (178-PG-86, agency: Two Points) with 7 ass, 17 pts of Amoni Francesco with 10 reb and 16 pts for Luca Bedetti (193-G/F-89, agency: Interperformances) while Simone Di Trani (185-G-83) was one of the few to escape from the debalce with 20 pts. In the game 2 at Palasport Benedetto XIV Cento had played a great last partial (29-16) led by another good offensive performance of Di Trani (25 pts and + 4 stl) and other 4 players in double digit (17 pts for Rorato Marco, the second top scorer of the team) while for the visitors the MVP it's been Giorgio Broglia (198-F-86, agency: Interperformances) that, starting from the bench, closed the game with 17 pts and 9 reb with 28 of ranking in 29 minutes (top scorer however was Luca Bedetti with 19 pts). In the decisive game bad performance of Di Trani with just 4 pts after the 2 great previous games, not enough the 20 pts of Bona Marco against the 5 man in double digit of the winners (double-double of Cicognani Giacomo and 15 pts of the couple Bedetti-Penserini Giovanni).

Group C

Madogas Natural Energy BNB vs Autosoft Scauri 2-0 (83-67, 75-67)
The Basket Nord Barese is the first finalist thanks the perfect 2-0 against Scauri reached without big problems, expecially in the first game of the series where the hosts was already 46-27 after the first half closing the match with 5 players in double digit and 104 of ranking. Giancarlo Palombita (188-G-79) it's been the top scorer with 19 pts adding also 4 stl while for the Autosoft there are 17 pts of Torboli Lorenzo. In the second game, played at Palasport C. Borrelli fo Scauri, the Madogas its' been almost always ahead in the score despite the attempts to take the series at the decisive game 3 of the hosts led by Iannone Armando with 16 pts and Serino Davide that scores 11 pts and catches 9 reb. For the future finalists the top scorer is Zaccariello Leonardo with 15 pts but the title of MVP was assigned to the double-double of Andrea Ancellotti (212-C-88) that closed the match with 13 pts and 11 reb.

Mec-Energy Roseto vs Lighthouse Trapani 2-1 (71-65, 54-60, 71-63)
In the other series of the group, probably one of the most exciting of this semifinals, Roseto take the ticket for the final winning the last decisive game at Pala Maggetti. The series starts with a victory for the Mec-Energy but the Lighthouse wins his home game thanks the 16 pts of Davide Virgilio (180-PG-72)/Nelson Rizzitiello (198-G/F-84) and the good game of the ex Milano Luca Ianes (203-F/C-80) with 11 pts and 9 reb despite the comeback attempt of the visitors led by the 16 pts of the Argentinian guard Nicolas Stanic (180-PG-84, agency: Players Group) and the 12 pts of Petrucci Niccolo. In the last match played own yesterday Arcangelo Leo (203-C-81) it's been decisive with 20 pts and 11 reb helped by the 15 pts of the expert center Christian DiGiuliomaria (209-C/F-79) (a little experience also in Switzerland this season), the 12 pts of Francesco Amoroso (203-F-78) and 9 pts of Stanic with 6 ass. Rizzitiello tried to bring his team to the victory (expecially in the good second quarter of Trapani) with 17 pts but, with the also the good performances of Ianes (14 pts + 11 reb) and Luca Tardito (202-F-89, agency: Players Group) (from the bench 8 pts, 11 reb and 4 ass), it was not enough to reach the final.

Quesos Cerrato de Palencia (LEB Gold) signed American (has also Italian passport) guard Bryce Pressley (193-95kg, college: Portland) from CB Clavijo. In 21 LEB Gold games in Spain he had 10.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.4apg and 1.2spg last season. Pressley also spent pre-season at Juvecaserta (Serie A) in Italian league that year. Umana Reyer Venezia (Serie A) agreed terms with 24-year old Czech international shooting guard Tomas Kyzlink (195-80kg-93). He played last season at JL Bourg Basket in French ProB. Kyzlink managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 11 ProB games he had 9.5ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.7apg. He helped them to win the ProB title (twice). Erogasmet Crema (Serie B) signed 21-year old guard Mattia Molteni (190-80kg-96) from Gessi Valsesia Basket. In 31 Serie B games he had 8.8ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.4apg last season. The previous (15-16) season Molteni played at Lighthouse (Serie A). But in 13 games he recorded just 0.8ppg. He helped his team to make it to the U17 Championships Semifinals in 2013.
