Luca Garri
The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Tuscany Pistoia (17-6) on the court of ninth ranked Pall.Trento on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Pall.Trento 81-64. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Tuscany Pistoia. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-64. Pall.Trento dominated on the defensive end, holding Tuscany Pistoia to just 7 points in second quarter. Pall.Trento forced 21 Tuscany Pistoia turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Nigerian-American point guard Michael Umeh (188-84, college: UNLV, agency: Two Points) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. The former international power forward Giacomo Galanda (211-75) answered with 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for Tuscany Pistoia. Tuscany Pistoia's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Pall.Trento maintains ninth place with 11-12 record. Tuscany Pistoia at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. Pall.Trento are looking forward to face higher ranked Novipiu Casale (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tuscany Pistoia will play against the league's second-placed Sigma Barcellona having rather not much hope for a victory.
The game between third ranked Novipiu Casale (16-8) and 5th ranked Givova Scafati (12-12) in Casale ended with biggest points difference. Novipiu Casale outscored guests from Scafati 102-82. American point guard Casper Ware (177-90, college: Long Beach St.) stepped up and scored 32 points and 5 assists for the winners and Giancarlo Ferrero chipped in 21 points. Novipiu Casale's coach Giulio Griccioli allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side the former international swingman Andrea Ghiacci (200-81) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Novipiu Casale maintains third place with 16-8 record having just -6 point less than leader Giorgo Tesi PT. Givova Scafati at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Tezenis VE. Novipiu Casale will play against Pall.Trento (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Givova Scafati will play against Tezenis VE in Verona and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games in round 25 were not that significant. Aget Service IM was beaten by C.de Latte BRE on the road 81-65. Upea CdO lost to LeGamberi FO on its own court 79-84. Tezenis VE managed to outperform FCM Ferentino in Verona 83-67. Biancoblu BO managed to beat Prima Veroli at home 85-67. Sigma Barcel. defeated Fileni BPA Jesi on the opponent's court 91-75.
