There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Lega 2. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Sigma Barcellona (19-8) in Capo d'Orlando on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by tenth ranked Upea CdO (11-15) 93-84. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Sigma Barcellona. Sigma Barcellona trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 26-19 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 84-93 at the end of the game. Upea CdO dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Sigma Barcellona's 42. They outrebounded Sigma Barcellona 39-23 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Alex Young (198-89, college: IUPUI) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds. Finnish Shawn Huff (198-84, college: Valparaiso) contributed with 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American-Congolese point guard Dwight Hardy (188-87, college: St.John's) replied with 21 points for Sigma Barcellona. Newly promoted Upea CdO maintains tenth position with 11-15 record. Sigma Barcellona at the other side still keeps top place with eight games lost. Upea CdO are looking forward to face league's second-placed Tuscany Pistoia on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sigma Barcellona will play against C.de Latte BRE in Brescia and is hoping to win this game.

In the last two games of round 28 Pall.Trento beat Fileni BPA Jesi on the road 78-77. Givova Scafati won against FCM Ferentino on its own court 80-65. Aget Service IM unfortunately lost to Novipiu Casale in a road game 58-65. AcegasAps TR managed to beat Tezenis VE at home 85-76. Giorgo Tesi PT was defeated by C.de Latte BRE on the opponent's court 79-69.
The most impressive performance of 28th round was 20 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists by Terrence Roderick of LeGamberi FO.
