The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

The game between second ranked Banco di Sard. (18-7) and sixth ranked Armani Milano (15-10) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Banco di Sard. was defeated by Armani Milano in a tough game in Sassari 79-85. Banco di Sard. trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 18-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 79-85 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 4 assists. Swingman Alessandro Gentile (198-92) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Travis Diener (184-82, college: Marquette) answered with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Banco di Sard.Armani Milano moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Montepaschi and Cantu. Banco di Sard. at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Armani Milano is looking forward to face VL Pesaro (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Banco di Sard. will play against Trenkwalder RE (#7) in Reggio Emilia and is hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for Cimberio Varese (20-5) which hosted in Varese 3rd placed Lottomatica Roma (17-8). First ranked Cimberio Varese had an easy win 81-58. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Lottomatica Roma. International forward Achille Polonara (202-91) stepped up and scored 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Janar Talts chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Cimberio Varese's coach Francesco Vitucci felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American-Nigerian power forward Gani Lawal (205-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) responded with 8 points and 18 rebounds. Cimberio Varese maintains first place with 20-5 record. Lottomatica Roma at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Cimberio Varese will play against Sutor Montegranaro (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Lottomatica Roma will play against Air Avellino (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Cantu between Juvecaserta and Cantu. Ninth ranked Juvecaserta (11-14) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Cantu (15-10). Juvecaserta managed to escape with a 1-point win 66-65 on Monday evening. Stevan Jelovac nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Pietro Aradori came up with 19 points and 5 rebounds for Cantu in the defeat. Cantu's coach Andrea Trinchieri rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Juvecaserta maintains ninth place with 11-14 record. Loser Cantu dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. They share it with Montepaschi and EA7 Armani. Juvecaserta will meet at home Enel Brindisi (#12) in the next round. Cantu will play against Angelico Biella (#16) and hope to secure a win.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Montepaschi Siena (15-10) and Air Avellino (10-14), which took place in Avellino. 4th placed Montepaschi Siena lost to twelfth ranked Air Avellino in a road game 70-75. Kaloyan Ivanov fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Montepaschi Siena's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Air Avellino have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place. Defending champion Montepaschi Siena keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Air Avellino's next round opponent will be higher ranked Lottomatica Roma (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Montepaschi Siena will play against Vanoli Cremona.

Other games in round 25 were not that significant. Sutor MGR beat Angelico BI on the road 86-73. Umana VE won against Vanoli CR on its own court 80-74. Trenkwalder RE managed to outperform Enel Brindisi in Reggio Emilia 84-69. Pesaro managed to beat Oknoplast BO at home 101-91.
The most impressive performance of 25th round was 18 points and 8 rebounds by Tarence Kinsey of Pesaro.

Angelico BI - Sutor MGR 73-86

No shocking result in a game when thirteenth ranked Sutor Montegranaro (10-15) beat on the road bottom-ranked Angelico Biella (5-20) 86-73. It looked good early as Angelico Biella took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Sutor Montegranaro had a 23-11 second period charge getting the lead and Angelico Biella was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-86. Sutor Montegranaro made 25-of-29 charity shots (86.2 percent) during the game, while Angelico Biella only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Angelico Biella 36-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Angelico Biella helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international point guard Fabio Di Bella (187-78) fired 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Luca Campani (206-90) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Sutor Montegranaro's coach Carlo Recalcati allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American-Qatari guard Trey Johnson (196-84, college: Jackson St., agency: Priority Sports) produced 19 points and 6 assists and American forward Kevinn Pinkney (207-83, college: Nevada) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sutor Montegranaro have a solid series of three victories in a row.
