There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in SerieA.

SerieA top team - Cimberio Varese (23-6) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked VL Pesaro (10-19) 85-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of VL Pesaro. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-70. Cimberio Varese outrebounded VL Pesaro 48-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by VL Pesaro helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) stepped up and scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Serbian-Greek Dusan Sakota (209-86, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Croatian point guard Rok Stipcevic (185-86) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Cimberio Varese have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 23-6 record. VL Pesaro at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 19 games lost. Cimberio Varese are looking forward to face Umana Venezia (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. VL Pesaro will play against Air Avellino (#10) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Cantu was also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Armani Milano (18-11) played at the court of 7th ranked Cantu (16-13). Armani Milano managed to secure a 9-point victory 78-69. Swingman Alessandro Gentile (198-92) nailed 25 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winning side and Marques Green accounted for 15 points and 4 assists. The former international Pietro Aradori (195-88) came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds for Cantu in the defeat. Armani Milano moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Montepaschi. Cantu at the other side keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost. Armani Milano will play against Enel Brindisi (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cantu will play against Oknoplast BO (#15) in Bologna and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game took place in Reggio Emilia where higher ranked Trenkwalder RE (17-12) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Vanoli Cremona (12-17) 87-78 on Sunday.
