Rudupis enjoy the road win in Rakvere at the first leg of the Baltic League Quarterfinals. The Lithuanian team smashed Tarvas 108:72 in Game 1. The return game of the tie will be played on March 9th in Lithuania. Rudupis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 69.8 percent from the field and made 21-of-23 charity shots during the game. Rudupis outrebounded BC Rakvere 38-15 including a 33-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. Rudupis players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. BC Rakvere was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Arturas Arturas Milaknis (195-G-86) (195-86) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists. Gediminas Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Reimo Reimo Tamm (185-PG-84) answered with 21 points and American guard Brandis Brandis Raley-Ross (188-G-87, college: S.Carolina) added 18 points in the effort for BC Rakvere.

Lithuania University Team started the game with a 27-22 rally and erupted with a 33-16 surge in the second frame. Moreover the hosts dominated the second half and won another two quarters. Lithuania University Team won the third period 27-15 and then finished the game with 23-17 in the last stanza. Eimantas Bendzius (203-F-90) stepped up with 17 points for the winners and Adomas Drungilas (203-C-90) as well as Vytenis Cizauskas (190-SG-92) netted 15 each. Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) added 12, whilst Butkevicius had 10. Denis Zakharov (193-PG-93) replied with 16 points in the losing effort and Evstafev had 11. Alexander Zakharov (204-F/G-93) and Vladislav Trushkin (201-F-93) followed them with 10 points apiece. On Monday Lithuania U20 will take on Russia U20.

Justas Tamulis (194-SF-94, agency: Beo Basket) top-scored for the winners with 20 points, while Donatas Tarolis netted 12. Lukas Lekavicius (180-G-94) delivered 11 and Tomas Dimsa had 10. Aleksandr Gudumak (203-C-93) replied with 15 points in the losing effort.

In 30 games he averaged 13.7ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg this season. Kasiulevicius also played at Naglis Palangos (LKL) in Lithuanian league earlier that season. In three games he had 7.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.7spg. He also played 3 games in Baltic League where he had 6.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg. Among other achievements Kasiulevicius' team made it to the Danish League Semifinals in 2011. He was selected to Danish League All-Star Game in 2011. Kasiulevicius has played also professionally in Poland (ZKS Stal Stalowa Wola), Denmark (Naestved) and Lithuania (Lietkabelis, Neptunas and Rudupis). He attended Trinity Valley JC until 2004 and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.
