Lithuania University Team stun Russia U20 in the first game of the friendly clash between two sides. The home side posted a comfortable 110:71 win in the opener.
Lithuania University Team started the game with a 27-22 rally and erupted with a 33-16 surge in the second frame. Moreover the hosts dominated the second half and won another two quarters. Lithuania University Team won the third period 27-15 and then finished the game with 23-17 in the last stanza.
Eimantas Bendzius (203-F-90) stepped up with 17 points for the winners and Adomas Drungilas (203-C-90) as well as Vytenis Cizauskas (190-SG-92) netted 15 each. Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) added 12, whilst Butkevicius had 10. Denis Zakharov (193-PG-93) replied with 16 points in the losing effort and Evstafev had 11. Alexander Zakharov (204-F/G-93) and Vladislav Trushkin (201-F-93) followed them with 10 points apiece.
On Monday Lithuania U20 will take on Russia U20.
