Etzella was defeated by Residence on the road 86-98. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 30-13 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Residence dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Etzella's 40. It was a great shooting night for Residence especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. It was a good game for American forward Marcus Kennedy (193-84, college: Montevallo, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Residence moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Musel Pikes. Etzella at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. They share it with T71. Residence is looking forward to face league's second-placed Amicale in Steinsel in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Etzella will play at home against T71 in Dudelange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Sparta (18-6) which hosted in Bertrange second-best Amicale (15-9). First ranked Sparta had an easy win 96-81.
