Roling - Buducnost 58-73

Buducnost cruised past Roling on the road 58-73 closing the Finals with perfect 0-2. It means that the Podgorica team won the Montenegrin league title for season 2011/12. It is their second trophy this year as they already won the Montenegrin Cup. Visitors dominated in Q2 and Q3 tonight, what allowed them to register comfortable win. Jasmina Bigovic (174-G-79) led Buducnost in scoring with 21 points. Milica Milosev (185-F-93) and Natasa Popovic (194-C-82) helped with 16 and 14 points respectively. For the home squad, Biljana Turcinovic (185-F-89) responded with 17 points. Natasa Orbovic (180-F-93) had 14 and Todorovic stopped to 10 points respectively. Quarters: 15-20, 10-23, 14-24, 19-6. Buducnost was the regular season champion with perfect 10-0 record. They handed 79-57 loss to Roling in the first game of the Playoff Finals.

Montenegro once again defeated Slovenia, 70-62, in their last warm-up game before the European Championship in Czech. Iva Perovanovic (188-C/F-83) scored 25 points and Angelica Robinson(197-F-87, college: Georgia) added 18. Montengro defeated Slovenia 72-59 in Podgorica for their second win in pre-European Championship warmups. Milica Jovanovic (189-F/C-89) scored 28 points on shooting 11-of-14 from the field including 6-of-8 behind the 3-point arc. Jelena Dubljevic(191-C-87) will not play at the European Championship for the Montenegrin national team. WNBA champion injured her foot during the warm-up game against Canada and will be sidelined eight weeks. Dubljevic has spent the past three seasons playing in Turkey with Galatasaray and Abdullah Gul University Kayseri.
