We bring you last week's top performances from Montenegrins who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an experienced international guard Jelena Skerovic (176-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Czech Republic. She could not help USK Praha to beat Galatasaray (0-0). Skerovic scored 6 points, grabbed 7 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 3 balls in 32 minutes on the court. USK Praha lost 63-78 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) Galatasaray. It's Skerovic's first season with the team. Skerovic belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #2 with 6.2apg. She also averaged so far 6.6ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.8spg, 3FGP: 24.0% and FT: 77.3% in the 14 games she played so far. Skerovic is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Milka Bjelica (193-81, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. She was not able to help Besiktas (12-7) in their last game on Monday. Despite Bjelica's very good performance Besiktas was crushed 82-61 in a derby game by the lower-ranked Istanbul Universitesi (#6). She recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 15 rebounds. Bjelica also added 3 assists. Bjelica has individually a very good season with high stats. She averages: 17.6ppg, 10.0rpg, 3.1apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 48.7%, 3FGP: 39.5% and FT: 90.2%(37-41). Bjelica played for the Montenegrin national team in 2011.

   #3. The Montenegrin player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Ana Turcinovic (190-93, currently plays in Turkey). She was the major contributor in Antakya's surprising victory against the third-ranked Kayseri (16-5) 76-70 in the Turkish TKBL on Saturday night. Turcinovic scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 33 minutes. Homend Antakya Belediyesi (10-11) is placed ninth in the TKBL. Turcinovic has relatively good stats this year: 11.9ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 42.3% and FT: 72.4% in the 15 games. She is also a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Iva Perovanovic (188-83, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to secure a victory for Nadezhda Orenburg in their game against CCC Polkowice (0-0) in the Euroleague. Perovanovic scored only 4 points and added 3 passes. The league leader Nadezhda Orenburg was defeated 76-70 on the road by the leading CCC Polkowice. Perovanovic's overall stats this season are: 7.6ppg and 5.5rpg. She is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #5. International power forward Milica Jovanovic (189-89, currently plays in Turkey) is a teammate of previously mentioned Milka Bjelica. But that was another game of her team in Turkish TKBL which we would like to mention. Jovanovic, who plays in the Turkish TKBL couldn't help Besiktas (12-7) in their last game. Despite her good performance Besiktas lost 73-80 in Adana to the lower-ranked (#8) Botas. Jovanovic scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 35 minutes. Jovanovic is currently seventh on the league's list of top scorers with 16.2ppg. This year she also averages: 5.6rpg, 2.2apg and 1.6spg in the 20 games. Jovanovic plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #6. Shooting guard Anna De Forge (178-76, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Skerovic and both played together in the last Euroleague game. De Forge couldn't help USK Praha in their game against Galatasaray (0-0). She scored only 4 points. USK Praha was defeated 78-63 on their home court in Praha by the higher-ranked Galatasaray (#3). De Forge's overall stats this season are: 3.3ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.1spg. She is a naturalized American. De Forge is a former international player as she played for the Montenegrin senior team two years ago. Strangely she has never played in Montenegro.

   #7. International swingman Eshaya Murphy (181-85, college: USC, currently plays in Euroleague) faced previously mentioned Jelena Skerovic in the Euroleague last game. Murphy managed to help Galatasaray M.P. Istanbul in a victory against the fifth-ranked USK Praha 78-63. She scored only 2 points in 13 minutes. This year Murphy's overall stats are: 2.0ppg, 1.5rpg and 2.0apg in the two games. She is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #8. Center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Skerovic. She played also in the last Euroleague game facing Anna De Forge (above) in the other team. Dubljevic couldn't help USK Praha in their game against Galatasaray (0-0). She cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Dubljevic scored only 3 points. USK Praha was defeated 78-63 on their home court in Praha by the higher-ranked Galatasaray (#3). Dubljevic's total stats this season are: 7.5ppg and 2.3rpg. She plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #9. International center Natasa Popovic (192-82, currently plays in Russia) couldn't help Spartak Noginsk (3-10) in their game against Dynamo Kursk (10-4) in the Russian PBL. Popovic cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points, had 13 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 21 minutes. Spartak Noginsk lost 50-59 in Kursk to the second-ranked Dynamo. Popovic is ranked fourth on the list of the best rebounders in the league and also on the list of best blockers (second place). This year her total stats are: 5.5ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.5apg, 2.0bpg and 1.8spg in the 13 games. Popovic is also in the roster of the Montenegrin national team.

   #10. Forward Milica Milosev (185-93, currently plays in Adriatic League) led her Serbian team ZKK Vrsac to an easy victory against the third-ranked PEAC-PECS (14-6) 60-44 in the Adriatic League in Wednesday night's game. She recorded 14 points. ZKK Vrsac (5-15) is placed second from the bottom (#10) in group T. The Regular Season already ended in the Adriatic League. Milosev has averaged so far 8.6ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.7apg. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Montenegrin National Team roster.

   #11. Former U18 international swingman Ana Dabovic (183-89, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help TED Ankara in their game against Tarsus Bld in the Turkish TKBL. Dabovic scored 6 points in 26 minutes. Her team was crushed by 25 points 93-68. Dabovic belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #5 with 17.2ppg. This year she also averages: 4.2rpg, 2.8apg and 1.8spg in the 19 games. Dabovic used to play for the Montenegrin U18 national team six years ago.

   #12. Former international guard Zivana Jankovic (174-83, currently plays in Adriatic League) couldn't help Celik in their game against Mladi Krajisnik in the Adriatic League. Despite her good performance on Saturday night She recorded 11 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Jankovic has averaged so far 8.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.6apg and 1.6spg. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team back in 2010.

   #13. International guard Jasmina Bigovic (174-79, currently plays in Russia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Natasa Popovic and both played together in the last Russian PBL game. Bigovic couldn't help Spartak Noginsk in their game against Dynamo Kursk. She cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Bigovic scored only 2 points in 16 minutes. Her team lost 50-59. She has averaged so far 4.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2spg in the 13 games. Bigovic is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #14. International power forward Sanja Knezevic (188-84, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Sp.Studentesc in their game against Timisoara in the Romanian Liga Nationala. She recorded 6 points. Her team was crushed by 23 points 84-61. Knezevic has averaged so far 7.3ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.1apg. She plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #15. Former international power forward Kristina Rakovic (182-94, currently plays in Adriatic League) faced previously mentioned Zivana Jankovic in the Adriatic League last game. Rakovic contributed to a 3-point Mladi Krajisnik's victory against the closely-ranked Celik 66-63. She recorded 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 24 minutes. Rakovic has averaged so far 6.5ppg and 4.3rpg in the 17 games. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team two years ago.

Montenegro once again defeated Slovenia, 70-62, in their last warm-up game before the European Championship in Czech. Iva Perovanovic (188-C/F-83) scored 25 points and Angelica Robinson(197-F-87, college: Georgia) added 18. Montenegro opened the game with nine straight points and led 16-4 midway through the first quarter. Montengro defeated Slovenia 72-59 in Podgorica for their second win in pre-European Championship warmups. Milica Jovanovic (189-F/C-89) scored 28 points on shooting 11-of-14 from the field including 6-of-8 behind the 3-point arc. Irena Matovic (186-F-88), Angelica Robinson (197-F-87, college: Georgia) and Kristina Rakovic (186-F/C-94) all aded 10 points. Jelena Dubljevic(191-C-87) will not play at the European Championship for the Montenegrin national team. WNBA champion injured her foot during the warm-up game against Canada and will be sidelined eight weeks. Dubljevic has spent the past three seasons playing in Turkey with Galatasaray and Abdullah Gul University Kayseri.
