The regular season in Montenegro will end tomorrow but most Montenegrin teams have already been thinking about the newcomers for the Superleague or Play Out League in order to achieve their season goals. Actually, every team has a right to sign one player only and some teams such as Mornar ( Hank Thorns (175-PG-89, college: TCU) ) or Danilovgrad ( Jay-R Strowbridge (183-PG-88, college: Oregon) ) have already made their choice in late February.
The news are that Teodo brought Stefan Djordjevic (206-C-89), their former player who played this season in Smederevo (Serbia). His team failed to qualify for the Superleague and he decided later to join Teodo. Another Superleague member, Ulcinj, strenghtened its roster and signed Nikola Ivanovic (199-SF-89), former Mornar player. Ivanovic did not play a lot in Mornar this season but is knows as a sharp shooter. Also Sutjeska got new blood after the signature of Ivan Miceta (205-FC-81), former Mornar's player who played this season in Tamis from Pancevo (Serbia).
In the Play Out League the situation seems quiet at the moment. Besides Danilovgrad nobody has brought a player so far, but Centar announced today that David King (195-F, college: Lindenwood) would be tested in the next couple of days and he convinces the head coach Centar will offer him te contract for the play out league. Also unoffical sources say that Nemanja Vuckovic (207-C-91), who has recently won Division II with Zeta 2011 is close to sign with Jedinstvo. The list will be complited before the next Wednesday when the Superleague and Play Out League start.
