The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 99-91. Froya Basket made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. American power forward Peter Bullock (198-82, college: Alaska-Anch.) fired 32 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Latvian guard Edmunds Gabrans (190-79) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Froya Basket players scored in double figures. Guard Christian Hinsch (186-88, agency: Court Side) produced 27 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Frank Nyborg (197-83) added 22 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side.

Baerum Basket triumphs at BLNO Finals. Tromso was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 47-26 second half run of Baerum Basket. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Stian Mjos (182-89) who helped to win the game recording 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American swingman Ryan Ferranti (195-86, college: Rollins) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Baerum Basket players scored in double figures. American forward Jonathan Jones (196-88, college: Kean) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import guard Gary Wallace (187-88, college: Robert Morris, agency: TSS Management) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Tromso. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Umea BSKT (Basketligan) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-88kg-87, college: New Hampshire). He played most recently at Baerum Basket in Norwegian BLNO. In 28 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 6.9apg (leader !!!) and 4.0spg (leader !!!) last season.
