Gimle BBK Bergen (BLNO) strengthened their roster with addition of American center Evan Matteson (208-104kg, college: Texas A&M International). He played in the summer at Bellingham Slam (IBL) in the U.S.. In 15 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.5ppg and 7.3rpg. He helped them to win the league title. Great season indeed as he was voted to USBasket.com All-IBL Honorable Mention. The last season Matteson was tested by Rio Grande Valley Vipers in D-League.
Last year he was drafted by Rio Grande Valley Vipers (D-League) in eighth round (119th overall).
The former Texas A&M International (NCAA Div.II) staris in his second season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Matteson received All-Heartland Player of the Year award and All-Heartland 1st Team award in 2012 at his college time.

Kongsberg Miners (BLNO) confirmed in their roster 28-year old guard Nicolai Oestbye (187-89, college: Mo.-St.Louis). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Norwegian Div.1 championship title in 2012. Asker Aliens BC (BLNO) re-signed experienced 35-year old Congolese international power forward Djo Yele (203-82). He has played there for the last five seasons. In 26 BLNO games he was fifth best scorer with impressive 22.0ppg and recorded 13.0rpg (#2 in the league), 2.9apg, 1.8spg and 1.8bpg last season. Asker Aliens BC (BLNO) landed 27-year old swingman Aksel Bolinz (201-100kg-90, college: N.Illinois). It is actually his comeback to Asker as he has played here before. Bolinz played most recently at Centrum in the BLNO. In 24 games he averaged impressive 18.5ppg, 11.0rpg (#5 in the league), 2.8apg, 1.9spg and 1.2bpg last season.
