The Regular Season in 1Div. just ended.

Very significant was Miners' (#1, 15-0) victory against 3rd ranked Hoybraten (7-8) 77-59. Undefeated Miners (15-0) have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Newly promoted Hoybraten keeps the third place with eight games lost.
Very significant was Persbraaten's (#2, 9-6) victory against 4th ranked Fyllingen BBK (6-9) 81-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fyllingen BBK. Persbraaten have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-6 record having six points less than leader Miners. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK keeps the fourth place with nine games lost.

Ron Billingslea takes over Sverresborg - Jun 4, 2013

Ron Billingslea is named the new head coach of Sverresborg. The US specialist is among the top coaches working in Norway. He led Froya for the last three seasons. Ron Billingslea became BLNO champion in 2012. He was named All-Norwegian BLNO Coach of the Year in 2012. Previously the specialist worked with Kongsberg, Oslo, Ammerud, Asker and Tromso in Norway as well as Etzella in Luxembourg. Ron Billingslea also guided the Norwegian U18 National Team in 2011.    [read more]
