Polish U18 National Team opened their Troyes international tournament campaign with back-to-back victories. They defeated Slovenia 75:62 in the opener. Angelika Stankiewicz (170-SG-95) nailed 12 points for the winners. Poland started off strong. They ensured a 25:13 lead ten minutes into the game. Slovenia cut the deficit in the second frame. They got within 8 points at halftime. But Poland held their opponents to just 8 points in the third term to open a 13-point lead with ten minutes remaining. The teams traded baskets throughout the fourth frame as Poland coasted to the victory. Jowita Ossowska (180-SF-96) and Weronika Telenga (192-C-95) chipped in 10 points each for Poland. Eva Lisec (192-C-95) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds for Slovenia. Ziva Macura (190-F/C-95) had 13 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
Next Poland took on hosting France. It was a tough battle from start to finish. Poland dropped 25 points in the opening frame to gain a 7-point lead. They stretched the gap in the second period. Poland enjoyed a 38:27 halftime advantage. But France answered with a stifling defence in the second half. They held the visitors to 6 points in the third term cutting the deficit at 7-point mark. Marie Mane (183-F-95) tied things up at 53 with 46 seconds remaining in regulation. Angelika Stankiewicz sank a free throw with two seconds left to seal the victory for Poland. Monika Naczk (167-PG-95) had 14 points for Poland. Jowita Ossowska had 10 points for the winners. Marie Milapie (191-C-96) answered with 14 points for France. Marie Mane had 11 points in the defeat.

FINAL Sleza Wroclaw - Wisla Can-Pack 73-57 Sleza outgunned Wisla in Wroclaw to secure 2-0 lead in the Finals. Sleza Wroclaw made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
