AZS Koszalin celebrated a narrow home win over Trefl Sopot to gain 2-1 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 16-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for the former international forward Pawel Leonczyk (202-86, agency: Promotex) who saved his team from a defeat with 18 points and 8 rebounds. International guard Lukasz Wisniewski (186-84, college: Barton County CC, agency: Promotex) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) answered with 16 points and the other American import guard Ronald Davis (190-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Trefl Sopot.

Stelmet ZG surged ahead in the series following a road win over Energa Czarni. The game was mostly controlled by Stelmet ZG. Energa Czarni managed to win second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Stelmet ZG made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian power forward Oliver Stevic (204-84, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Todd Abernethy (185-84, college: Mississippi) came up with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import center Bertengeh Gadri-Nicholson (208-83, college: Denver) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Energa Czarni in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

PGE Turow defeated Polpharma to secure the semifinal birth. Polpharma was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 48-41 second half run of PGE Turow. They made 24-of-27 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Polpharma was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Michal Chylinski (190-86, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Guinean point guard Russell Robinson (185-86) helped adding 19 points. PGE Turow's coach Miodrag Rajkovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Uros Mirkovic (205-82, agency: BeoExcell) with 21 points and the former international forward Lukasz Majewski (199-82) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Four PGE Turow and five Polpharma players scored in double figures.

The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) who scored 25 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American swingman Marcus Ginyard (196-87, college: N.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 22 points. Anwil's coach Milija Bogicevic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Austrian-Slovenian center Rasid Mahalbasic (211-90) who recorded 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks and the former international Przemyslaw Zamojski (194-86, college: Independence CC, agency: Alti Sport) added 13 points respectively.
