The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Trefl Sopot (17-9) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Anwil (17-9) 69-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trefl Sopot. It was a key game for the second position in Places 1-6. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 17-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian power forward Nikola Jovanovic (203-81, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Anwil's coach Milija Bogicevic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for Trefl Sopot. Anwil moved-up to second place in Places 1-6, which they share with Stelmet ZG and Trefl Sopot. Anwil is looking forward to face Asseco Prok. (#5) in Gdynia in the next round. Trefl Sopot will play at home against Energa Czarni in Slupsk and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of first ranked Polpharma (14-12) against fifth ranked Start Gdynia (8-19) on Friday night. Visiting Polpharma was defeated by Start Gdynia in a tough game in Gdynia 70-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Polpharma. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Israeli center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and Jaroslaw Mokros who added 14 points during the contest. Start Gdynia's coach David Dedek allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Michael Hicks (193-83, college: Central Mo., agency: Court Side) responded with 19 points. Start Gdynia have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Start Gdynia maintains fifth position in Places 7-12 with 8-19 record. Polpharma at the other side still keeps top place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
An interesting game for AZS Koszalin (12-14) which hosted in Koszalin 4th ranked Rosa Radom (8-18). Second ranked AZS Koszalin managed to get a 8-point victory 82-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rosa Radom. The winners were led by Sek Henry who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds. Even 18 points and 9 assists by Nic Wise did not help to save the game for Rosa Radom. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS Koszalin maintains second position in Places 7-12 with 12-14 record having six points less than leader PGE Turow. Newly promoted Rosa Radom keeps the fourth place with 18 games lost. AZS Koszalin will meet at home Siarka Jezioro (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rosa Radom will play against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
TBL top team - PGE Turow (18-8) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Energa Czarni (13-13) in Zgorzelec 68-56. Ivan Zigeranovic fired 16 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. PGE Turow have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Places 1-6 with 18-8 record. Energa Czarni lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. PGE Turow's next round opponent will be Stelmet ZG (#4) in Zielona Gora. Energa Czarni will play on the road against the league's second-placed Trefl Sopot.

It was a very good performance for Walter Hodge who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Stelmet ZG moved-up to second place in Places 1-6, which they share with Anwil and Trefl Sopot. Asseco Prok. lost third consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. Stelmet ZG will face league's leader PGE Turow in Zgorzelec in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Asseco Prok. will play on the road against Anwil (#3) in Wloclawek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In Places 7-12 Siarka Jezioro beat Kotwica on the road 87-76.
The most impressive performance of 4th round was 29 points and 8 rebounds by Quinton Hosley of Stelmet ZG.

Places 1-6
PGE Turow - Energa Czarni 68-56

TBL top team - PGE Turow (18-8) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Energa Czarni (13-13) in Zgorzelec 68-56. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Energa Czarni was better in third quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian center Ivan Zigeranovic (212-84, agency: BeoExcell) fired 16 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. The former international point guard Michal Chylinski (190-86, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 10 points and 4 assists. American forward Roderick Trice (191-84, college: S.Carolina) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import center Bertengeh Gadri-Nicholson (208-83, college: Denver) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. PGE Turow have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Places 1-6 with 18-8 record. Energa Czarni lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. The game in Zielona Gora was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Asseco Prok. (16-10) played at the court of fifth ranked Stelmet ZG (17-9). Stelmet ZG managed to secure a 5-point victory 80-75 on Sunday. It was a key game for the second position in Places 1-6. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-16. But Asseco Prok. won second period 17-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Stelmet ZG forced 19 Asseco Prok. turnovers. Asseco Prok. was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. The former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) contributed with 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. Visiting Polpharma was defeated by Start Gdynia in a tough game in Gdynia 70-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Polpharma. The hosts were ahead by 11 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 21-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Start Gdynia outrebounded Polpharma 35-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Israeli center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Jaroslaw Mokros (201-90) who added 14 points during the contest. No shocking result in a game when third ranked Siarka Jezioro (11-15) beat 6th ranked Kotwica (6-20) in Kolobrzeg 87-76 on Thursday. The game without a history. Siarka Jezioro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Quite impressive performance for the former international center Dawid Przybyszewski (215-81, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. American guard J.T. Tiller (191-88, college: Missouri) contributed with 8 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Siarka Jezioro players scored in double figures. American guard Sean Mosley (193-89, college: Maryland) replied with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Lukasz Wichniarz (197-82) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kotwica. Siarka Jezioro maintains third position in Places 7-12 with 11-15 record having seven points less than leader PGE Turow. Kotwica lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 20 games lost. Siarka Jezioro will face league's second-placed AZS Koszalin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kotwica will play against Rosa Radom (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

An interesting game for AZS Koszalin (12-14) which hosted in Koszalin 4th ranked Rosa Radom (8-18). Second ranked AZS Koszalin managed to get a 8-point victory 82-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rosa Radom. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Rosa Radom won third quarter 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AZS Koszalin had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Pawel Leonczyk (202-86, agency: Promotex) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four AZS Koszalin players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 9 assists by American point guard Nic Wise (178-87, college: Arizona) did not help to save the game for Rosa Radom. The former international power forward Mateusz Jarmakowicz (208-88) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS Koszalin maintains second position in Places 7-12 with 12-14 record having six points less than leader PGE Turow. Newly promoted Rosa Radom keeps the fourth place with 18 games lost. AZS Koszalin will meet at home Siarka Jezioro (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rosa Radom will play against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
