Energa Czarni overcame Stelmet ZG at home court to force the decisive fifth game in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Energa Czarni. Stelmet ZG was better in fourth quarter 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Energa Czarni made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Stelmet ZG turnovers. Stelmet ZG was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Roderick Trice (191-84, college: S.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. The other American import center Bertengeh Gadri-Nicholson (208-83, college: Denver) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Energa Czarni players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: Beo Basket) replied with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Oliver Stevic (204-84, agency: Beo Basket) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Stelmet ZG. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

AZS Koszalin shot down Trefl Sopot in overtime to win the series. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game in overtime by 5 points. Trefl Sopot was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Lukasz Wisniewski (186-84, college: Barton County CC, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four AZS Koszalin players scored in double figures. International swingman Adam Waczynski (199-89) replied with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Trefl Sopot. Trefl Sopot's coach Mariusz Niedbalski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Anwil will play in the semifinal after they rallied past Asseco Prokom. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-56. It was a very good performance for naturalized Bosnian forward Seid Hajric (203-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) contributed with 11 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Anwil players scored in double figures. Austrian-Slovenian center Rasid Mahalbasic (211-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Przemyslaw Zamojski (194-86, college: Independence CC, agency: Alti Sport) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Asseco Prok.

Miasto Szkla Krosno (PLK) landed 28-year old point guard Michal Musijowski (185-89). It is actually his comeback to Krosno as he has played here before. Stelmet Zielona Gora (PLK) re-signed 33-year old international center Adam Hrycaniuk (206-104kg-84, college: Cincinnati). He has played there for the last four seasons. Hrycaniuk managed to play in three leagues last year. In 45 PLK games he recorded 6.0ppg and 3.8rpg. He helped them to win the league title (twice) and the cup (also twice). Defending champion Stelmet Zielona Gora (PLK) landed 26-year old American point guard Phil Taylor (178-79kg-91) for try-outs. He just graduated from Shorter (NCAA2). In 24 games he averaged impressive 33.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.2apg and 2.0spg last season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was selected to All-GSC 1st Team.
