There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Proliga. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

There was a change at the Proliga leadership position after last games. Round 21 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Oliveirense (16-3). They were defeated by fourth ranked Illiabum (12-8) 77-62 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Oliveirense. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. They outrebounded Oliveirense 38-25 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Oliveirense helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Tiago Raimundo (194-90) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Joao Figueiredo (183-79) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international center Nuno Cortez (205-82) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Illiabum have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 12-8 record. Oliveirense at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Maia Basket who have the same record. There is only one round left in the Regular Season. And it will be most important game for Oliveirense this season. They will face Sangalhos trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Illiabum will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.

Maia Basket's coach Rui Silva felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Chano Rashiduddin (208-88, college: Clark Atlanta) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for Terceira in the defeat. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Maia Basket. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Oliveirense. Terceira at the other side keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. There is only one round left in the Regular Season. strong Electrico FC trying to get back on the winning streak. Maia Basket will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Angrabasket at home.
Seventh-ranked Angrabasket (7-12) gave a tough game to third ranked Electrico FC (15-4) in Ponte de Sor on Saturday. Electrico FC managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66. However their fans expected much easier game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Electrico FC. They maintain third place with 15-4 record behind leader Maia Basket. Angrabasket lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. Electrico FC will meet at home Terceira (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Angrabasket will play against the league's leader Maia Basket and hope to secure a win.
Bottom-ranked Leca managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of three consecutive loses. This time newly promoted Leca won against tenth-ranked Ginasio 73-61. It was a good game for Rui Monteiro who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Leca's coach Cesar Domingues let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leca (5-14) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Benfica B. Ginasio lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. Leca's next round opponent will be Benfica B (#9) in Lisboa. Ginasio will play on the road against Guifoes and be promoted back to the LPB just one year after relegation.

In the last game of round 21 Benfica B lost to Guifoes on the opponent's court 68-72.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 27 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists by Rui Mota of Guifoes.

Leca - Ginasio 73-61

Bottom-ranked Leca managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of three consecutive loses. This time newly promoted Leca won against tenth-ranked Ginasio 73-61. Ginasio was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 43-28 second half run of Leca. It was a good game for guard Rui Monteiro (185-77) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Tiago Lopes (-87) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Leca's coach Cesar Domingues let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. point guard Pedro Marques (173-95) answered with 16 points and David Martins (-81) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Ginasio. Leca (5-14) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Benfica B. Ginasio lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. Leca's next round opponent will be Benfica B (#9) in Lisboa. Ginasio will play on the road against Guifoes and be promoted back to the LPB just one year after relegation.

Maia Basket - Terceira 90-44

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Maia Basket as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Oliveirense) loss. Maia Basket smashed 8th ranked Terceira at home 90-44. The game without a history. Maia Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maia Basket dominated on the defensive end, holding Terceira to just 7 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Terceira 39-26 including a 27-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Maia Basket shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. Maia Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Terceira's players. Maia Basket brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The former international forward Nuno Marcal (205-75) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and guard Pedro Catarino (184-90) accounted for 14 points, 8 assists and 6 steals. Rather expected game when 9th ranked Benfica B (5-14) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Guifoes (9-10) 72-68. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-11 Benfica B's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 72-68 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Benfica B 44-30 including 21 on the offensive glass. Guifoes players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for the former international swingman Rui Mota (190-78) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Naturalized Angolan guard Joao Pereira (186-83) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guifoes' coach Paulo Fidalgo allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Andre Miguens (184-94) answered with 17 points and swingman Ricardo Rosa (193-92) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Benfica B. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Guifoes maintains sixth place with 9-10 record. Newly promoted Benfica B keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost.
