Australian-Trinidad and Tobago Daniel Dillon (194-G/F-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Oradea and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 26-year old swingman had the game-high 34 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for Oradea in his team's victory, helping them to crush CSM Bucuresti (#8, 16-11) with 18-point margin 95-77. It allowed Oradea to consolidate first place in the Romanian Division A. Oradea have a solid 22-5 record. In the team's last game Dillon had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Daniel Dillon averages this season 11.4ppg and 5.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old Canadian forward Denham Brown (198-F-83) of Timba Timis.. Brown impressed basketball fans with 32 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Timba Timis. cruised to a 91-82 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Miercurea Ciuc (#15, 3-24). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Timba Timis. keeps 13th position. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Timba Timis. managed to get this year. Brown is one of the most experienced players at Timba Timis. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was former international Mihai Silvasan (200-SF-85, agency: Court Side) of U.Mobitel.CN (#7). Silvasan showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of U.Mobitel.CN, leading his team to a 86-74 win against slightly lower-ranked Rovinari (#9, 13-14). U.Mobitel.CN needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 9 lost games. Silvasan has a very solid season. In 22 games in Romania he scored 11.6ppg. He also has FGP: 58.1% and 3PT: 43.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jeremi Booth (195-G-87) of Farul Const. - 28 points and 11 rebounds
5. Louis Darby (196-G-84) of Rovinari - 30 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Travis Bureau (200-G-88) of Craiova - 24 points and 7 rebounds

10. Catalin Burlacu (210-C-77) of Ploiesti - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
