The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But U-Mobitelco won third quarter 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely U-Mobitelco outrebounded Oradea 44-30 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. U-Mobitelco was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American point guard William Franklin (183-85, college: Bradley) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian forward Milos Pesic (205-84) helped adding 18 points. The best for the losing side was American forward Sean Barnette (198-86, college: Wingate) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Mihai Silvasan (200-85, agency: Court Side) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

The game was mostly controlled by Ploiesti. Timisoara managed to win third quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game. Ploiesti forced 19 Timisoara turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Ghanian guard Alhaji Mohammed (192-81, college: Louisville, agency: Court Side) who led the winners and scored 39 points (!!!) and 4 assists. The former international power forward Virgil Stanescu (208-77, college: S.Alabama, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Bosnian point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, agency: Beo Basket) came up with 24 points and American guard Devan Downey (175-87, college: S.Carolina, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Timisoara in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

It looked good early as Craiova took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gaz Metan had a 26-21 second period charge getting the lead and Craiova was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 75-86. Gaz Metan dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Craiova's 30. Gaz Metan forced 22 Craiova turnovers and outrebounded them 44-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Aleksandar Mladenovic (207-84, agency: BeoExcell) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Serbian guard Slobodan Dundjerski (188-88, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 13 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Four Gaz Metan players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard LeVar Seals (195-82, college: De Paul) who recorded 21 points and 5 rebounds and Estonian center Reinar Hallik (208-84) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Craiova's coach Andelko Mandic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Targu Mures trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 32-24 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 96-105 at the end of the game. CSM Bucuresti shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for American forward Brian Morris (205-87, college: Humboldt St.) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 9 rebounds. Montenegrin point guard Goran Martinic (183-87, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (199-80, agency: BeoExcell) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Branko Cuic (197-78) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Targu Mures. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.

CS Phoenix Galati (Liga Nationala) re-signed 26-year old American guard Phillip Miller (185-91, college: Wiley, agency: 011 Sports). He was a team leader there last season. In 9 Liga Nationala games he averaged impressive 17.9ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.7apg and 1.3spg.
