The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 32-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Gaz Metan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian forward Milos Pesic (205-84) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard William Franklin (183-85, college: Bradley) contributed with 15 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Oradea players scored in double figures.
