#1. This week's number one is an international guard Alexey Shved (198-88, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in NBA). He led Minnesota Timberwolves to an easy victory against the San Antonio Spurs (50-16) crushing them 107-83 in the NBA in Tuesday night's game.
Shved scored 16 points and added 7 passes in 30 minutes on the court.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have rather weak 22-41 record this season.
It's Shved's first year with the team.

#6. Forward Maxim Zakharov (198-89, college: E.Utah JC, currently plays in Belgium), who plays in the Belgian Ethias League was not able to help VOO Verviers-Pepinster (4-17) in their last game. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked VOO Verviers-Pepinster was crushed 99-60 on the road by the second-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut.
Zakharov was the second best scorer with 10 points in 23 minutes.
It was VOO Verviers-Pepinster's third consecutive loss in a row.
This year Zakharov's overall stats are: 3.6ppg and 2.1rpg in the 15 games.
He is a former U20 international player as he played for the Russian team four years ago.

Adediran has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.5ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.2apg in the six games.
Adediran is another player who holds two passports: Nigerian and Russian.
#3. Experienced Raul Lopez (183-PG-80, currently plays in Eurocup) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (3-3) crushing them 101-78 in the Eurocup on Tuesday night.
He scored 6 points.
It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group J. Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket (4-2) is placed first.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
Lopez's overall stats this season are: 6.9ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.7apg.
#4.Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-SF-85, currently plays in VTB United League) contributed to Tsmoki-Minsk's surprising victory against the leader Zalgiris (15-2) 86-82 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game.
He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Tsmoki-Minsk (2-15) is placed ninth in group B.
Pustahvar's team will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
This year Pustahvar's overall stats are: 7.2ppg and 4.0rpg in the 17 games.
He has both Russian and Belarusian nationalities.
#5.Anton Indrikov (193-G-87, currently plays in Belarus), who plays in the Belarusian Premier League was not able to help Rubon (11-13) in their last game. Despite Indrikov's very good performance the second-placed Rubon lost 80-93 on their home court in Vitebsk to the lower-ranked (#4) Svisloch in the Championship group.
He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Indrikov also added 3 assists and 3 steals in 25 minutes.
Indrikov is currently sixth on the list of top scorers with 13.6ppg.

#6.Albert Kuppe (195-F-88, currently plays in Germany) was the main contributor in a 3-point Oettinger Rockets Gotha's victory against the closely-ranked ETB Wohnbau 72-69 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game.
Kuppe was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points (made all of his six free throws).
Kuppe's overall stats this season are: 8.7ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.5apg.
He also holds two passports: Russian and German.
Despite Kuppe's Russian nationality, he previously played for the German U18 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Russian team.
#7.Nikita Khartchenkov (200-F-87, currently plays in Germany) was the major contributor in NBC's shocking victory against the second-ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg 80-74 in the German ProA (second division) last Saturday.
Khartchenkov recorded 18 points (made all of his six free throws) in 31 minutes.
He has very impressive stats this year: 15.1ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.3apg in the 10 games.
Khartchenkov holds both Russian and German passports.
Despite his Russian nationality, Khartchenkov previously played for the German U20 national team and probably cannot be called to the Russian team.
#8.Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-C-86, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Tornado crushing them 91-58 in the Ukrainian Higher League (second division) on Sunday night.
He was MVP of the game. Lipovtsev recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points and getting 11 rebounds.
Lipovtsev is currently sixth on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (fifth place).
This season he has very high stats. Lipovtsev averages: 17.6ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.6apg, 1.5bpg and 1.5spg.
#9.Anton Kazarnovski (205-F/C-85, currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli National League (second division) was not able to secure a victory for Hapoel Kazrin (10-11) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Hapoel Kazrin lost 80-90 on their home court in Kazrin to the higher-ranked (#3) Hod Hasharon.
Kazarnovski had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 39 minutes.
This year Kazarnovski has relatively solid stats: 14.6ppg, 8.9rpg and 3.0apg in the 21 games.
He has dual citizenship: Russian and Israeli.
Despite Kazarnovski's Russian passport, he previously played for the Israeli university national team.
#10.Giorgi Kvelashvili (206-C-81, currently plays in Georgia), who plays in the Georgian Superleague couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Batumi (4-13) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Kvelashvili's very good performance Batumi was badly defeated 86-66 on the road by the higher-ranked TSU (#8).
He was the top scorer with 19 points. Kvelashvili also added 7 rebounds.
His overall stats this season are: 8.9ppg and 6.1rpg.
Kvelashvili holds both Russian and Georgian passports.

BC Nizhny Novgorod has extended the contract of their Serbian head coach - Zoran Lukic for two more years.

Ural Ekaterinburg tied Superleague Finals at 1-1. Ural Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. 29 personal fouls committed by Universitet-Yugra helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Chris Monroe (191-81, college: G.Washington) had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Aaron McGhee (203-79, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and guard Anton Ageev (192-84) scored 20 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Unics announced their decision not to renew the contract of head coach Stanislav Eremin . The specialist took over the Kazan team in February. He replaced Aco Petrovic . However Unics finished in just the fifth position in PBL regular season. They also surrendered againt Lokomotiv Kuban at the quarterfinal stage of the VTB League. On top of it Unics lost to Valencia in the first round of EuroCup playoffs. [read more]
