Swedish Center Amanda Bazoukou (196-C-93) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Nadezhda O., receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18. The 23-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, nine rebounds) to her team's victory, helping them to edge out Chevakata (#4, 9-8) 83-79. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Nadezhda O. maintains the 3rd position in Russian PBL. They are still close to the very top. Nadezhda O. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 14-3 record. In the team's last game Bazoukou had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Nadezhda O.'s top player in her first season with the team. Former University of Minnesota star has very solid stats this year. Bazoukou is in league's top in points (6th best: 13.3ppg) and averages impressive 60.5% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 31-year old Canadian Tamara Tatham (185-F-85) of Dynamo NR. Tatham had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Dynamo NR lost that game 60-69 to slightly lower-ranked Sparta&K MR (#8, 6-11). Dynamo NR managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-10 record. Tatham is a newcomer at Dynamo NR, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.7ppg (#3). She also registered 7.9 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Emma Cannon (187-PF-89, agency: LBM Management) of Chevakata (#4). Cannon got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. She went also for ten rebounds . Despite Cannon's great performance Chevakata lost 79-83 to #3 ranked Nadezhda O.. But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Chevakata needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 9 victories and 8 lost games. Cannon has a great season in Russia. After 17 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.3ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 10.1rpg (#1 in league).

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
