The game without a history. Universitet-Yugra led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Universitet-Yugra outrebounded AltajBasket 44-29 including 31 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Guard Ilia Aleksandrov (194-81) notched 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) supported him with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Universitet-Yugra players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 7 assists by guard Sergey Chernov (187-86) did not help to save the game for AltajBasket. Center Dmitriy Ponosov (220-84) added 5 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ryazan won third quarter 25-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Ural Ekaterinburg won last quarter 23-20. They made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Ryazan was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Aaron McGhee (203-79, college: Oklahoma) notched 27 points to lead the effort and point guard Maxim Tkachenko (184-92, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) supported him with 12 points and 8 assists. Five Ural Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 5 assists by guard Dramir Zibirov (188-86) did not help to save the game for Ryazan. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-13. But Novosybirsk won third quarter 22-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Andrey Mateyunas (180-88) scored 20 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Ukrainian guard Pavel Agapov (198-79) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Ataman players scored in double figures. Center Pavel Podkolzin (226-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and guard Aleksandr Anisimov (186-86, agency: Alti Sport) scored 9 points and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

American power forward Hakeem Rollins (202-83, college: Washington, agency: Dream Team Management) notched 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and point guard Ivan Strebkov (192-91) supported him with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by Andrey Loginov (204-93) did not help to save the game for Spartak Vidnoye. Power forward Andrey Chernysh (212-90) added 9 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
