The game without a history. Ural Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was American guard Chris Monroe (191-81, college: G.Washington) who scored 18 points and 4 assists. Forward Dmitriy Arteshin (200-89, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Nikita Stepanenkov (208-87) who recorded 10 points and 6 rebounds and forward Oleg Bartunov (197-85, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively. The game was mostly controlled by Ataman. Novosybirsk managed to win second period 16-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Novosybirsk 50-39 including a 38-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Novosybirsk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for center Alexey Kurtsevich (209-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds.
