The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets. Coincidentally all visitors won their games.

The game in Samara was quite interesting. Third ranked Lokomotiv (9-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Krasnie Krilya (7-7). Lokomotiv defeated Krasnie Krilya 72-59 on Saturday. The game without a history. Lokomotiv led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Lokomotiv outrebounded Krasnie Krilya 44-30 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Krasnie Krilya helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Richard Hendrix (204-86, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Australian center Aleks Maric (211-84, college: Nebraska) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Andre Smith (203-85, college: N.Dakota St.) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds for Krasnie Krilya. Krasnie Krilya's coach Sergey Bazarevich rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Lokomotiv have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-7 record having five points less than leader CSKA. Krasnie Krilya at the other side dropped to the fifth place with seven games lost. Lokomotiv will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Krasnie Krilya will play on the road against Enisey Krasnoyarsk (#10) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.

Even 8 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists by Loukas Mavrokefalidis did not help to save the game for Spartak St.Petersburg. Spartak-Prim. moved-up to eighth place. Spartak St.Petersburg lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Spartak-Prim. will meet at home Triumph Lyubertsy (#9) in the next round. Spartak St.Petersburg will have a break next round.

Unics - N.Novgorod 56-57

Important game to mention about took place in Kazan. Ninth ranked BC Nizhny Novgorod (7-10) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging higher ranked Unics Kazan (7-8) 57-56 on Sunday evening.
