Georgia escape the last spot with the win over Scotland at the U18 European Championship. Georgia posted a final 94:68 win to finish on the 21st place. Scotland debuted well and showed good effort anyway.
Both teams wanted to finish the campaign with the win and did their best. Georgia opened the game with 23-16 run and then added 21-18 rally in the second period. Moreover Georgia dominated the second half and posted another two victories. They posted 26-17 in the third period and ended up with 24-17 rally.
Kakhaber Tomaradze (193-SG-95) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Giorgi Dvali (180-SG-95) netted 12. Sandro Sanadze (188-PG-95) posted 11, while Ucha Gamreklidze (200-C-95) added 9. Fraser Malcolm (186-SF-96) ended up with 22 points in the losing effort and Nicholas Sim (180-PG-95) added 15. Gregor Gray (193-G/F-96) brought 11, whilst Ronan Mullan (185-G-95) ended up with 7 points.
