Radivoj Korac - Radnicki KG 75-37

Radivoj Korac claimed the first win in the quarterfinal series versus Radnicki KG. The game without a history. Radivoj Korac led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Radnicki KG to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Radivoj Korac held Radnicki KG to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Radivoj Korac forced 30 Radnicki KG turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Snezana Colic (178-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 4 assists. Center Ivana Brajkovic (195-93) contributed with 16 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Radivoj Korac's coach Milos Pavlovic felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Aleksandra Katic (172-87, college: Brown) answered with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Bosnian center Nikolina Milic (195-94) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Radnicki KG.

Partizan - Sabac 92-47

Partizan cruised to the victory against Sabac. The game without a history. Partizan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Partizan forced 19 Sabac turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Partizan players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Croatian center Ivona Bogoje (193-76) stepped up and scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international guard Sasa Cadjo (178-89) chipped in 17 points. Four Partizan players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Mirjana Velisavljevic (188-78) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Maja Adamovic (173-88) scored 6 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Crvena Zvezda stoled a road win over Vrsac in the series opener. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 46-41 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Natasa Kovacevic (187-94) nailed 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Aleksandra Stanacev (167-94) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Swingman Jovana Jaksic (178-92) came up with 27 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and guard Tamara Petkovic (170-89) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for ZKK Vrsac in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Jagodina 2001 to just 5 points in first quarter. Vojvodina forced 20 Jagodina 2001 turnovers. Guard Natasa Bucevac (179-85) fired 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners.
